Gameday has great Gameplay

by   bossman52 ,  Dec 19, 2001
Pros: Excellent Graphics, Great Play Selection, Good Gameplay
Cons: Phil Simms as the announcer, Couple of trick moves that make it unrealistic
The Bottom Line: My final recommendation is to buy. That is if you are broke and in college like me. Save your money for food. Buy this game.
Review: Okay, so you are looking at your "old" and "outdated" PS1 system, and wondering what am I going to do with this system? You are a college student and you have no money for the new $250 system, but you want the same kind of action that's available for...

I can't quit playing!!!!

by   Jeremy_Gentry ,  Oct 7, 1999
Pros: Graphics
Cons: loses some stats over a course of a season
Review: Gameday '99 is one of the most addicting games I've played. I only play sports game, so this is my football game of choice. I haven't played Gameday 2000 yet, but if it's half as good as '99, lookout! Great graphics, very challenging on the hardest...

Gameday is great

by   JamesFelke ,  Mar 28, 2000
Pros: Excellent gameplay
Cons: you cant do a custom season picking the teams you wanna play
Review: In my opinion 989 did an excellent job on NFL Gameday 1999. It was a fun exciting game. The graphics were great. There was also a nice soundtrack on the game. I really liked how there were so many differnet game modes and options to choose from. You...

biased

by   hommedepoulet ,  Nov 17, 1999
Pros: graphics, players
Cons: trades, drafting, statistics
Review: NFL Gameday 99 is a good game, but its very biased. I don't like the trade restrictions, and I don't like how it freezes up every time I play. It definilty has good graphics and good movement, is pretty easy to play and learn, but trading people,...

Time consuming

by   vicsnoopy ,  Feb 8, 2000
Pros: Fun to Play!
Cons: Difficult to learn to play
Review: This game is a very time consuming game to play and may not enjoy it at first because it is a difficult game to learn to play. Once you do figure it out it is fun and well worth the time spent on the game it self.
I found this game one which is...

Worse than 98!!!!

by   glux11 ,  Jan 26, 2000
Pros: graphics
Cons: game play, glitch, price
Review: Ok gameday 99 is not a good football game. I have Gameday 98 and I actually like it better then 99!! They are supposed to make it better each year not worse! 99 features a glitch in the game where if you hit the quarterback after he throws it the pass is...

GIVE ME A BREAK

by   nwp ,  Jan 16, 2000
Pros: Not expensive
Cons: THE GAME SUCKS
Review: The graphics suck, the announcers are stupid and often don't even make sense, and the game is less realistic than games for the sega genesis. I once played a game on gameday 99 in which I threw for six hundred yards, rushed for two, held the computer to...
