2005 Chevrolet Avalanche

Pros: Very versatile truck/passenger SUV with a great ride

Cons: Averaging 12 mpg in highway/street driving.

The Bottom Line: Great SUV/Truck. Definitely buy it if you need to go off road or carry stuff. Don't buy it if 14 mpg average is going to kill your pocketbook.

Pros: Leg room, comfortable ride, digital display information center, storage areas, cargo.

Cons: Gas mileage is around 15.5 mpg in town and 18.7 when on highways more often.

The Bottom Line: I believe the only thing out there better then a 2005 Avalanche would be a 2008 or newer Avalanche. These trucks are the best of all worlds!
