Review: My husband and I were in the market for a new car as his 1996 Ford Escort just wasn't going to last the summer driving an 80KM (for you Americans that's about 45 miles) a day commute. We looked around at a bunch of different cars both foreign ...

Should A 2005 Saturn Ion Be In Your Driveway?

by   mrkstvns ,  Feb 26, 2005
Pros: Outrageously good value as a new car, especially for a 3-year lease deal
Cons: Lacks sex appeal, not as durable long-term as Honda or Toyota
The Bottom Line: So many choices, so many factors. If you're looking to lease a small car, this is one choice that can really be "money in the bank"!
Review: Today's car market is jam-packed with good cars and good deals in every category imaginable (and even a few categories that couldn't have been imagined just a few short years ago). Even within categories, it can be hard to pick a single car that's ...

Review: After driving a 1993 Saturn SL2 for 12 years, I needed a new car. While there are many cars available, not all will fit into the budget of a teacher. After my last car needed a $300 repair, I knew it was time to let go of it. I have driven many ...

by   drv2fast ,  Jun 4, 2005
Pros: Fuel economy, appearance, functionality and interior design
Cons: Aerodynamic flaw, design of rear door frame.
The Bottom Line: Test thoroughly at highway speed to assess wind noise. If acceptable then I highly recommend it.
