Comfy on the inside rugged on the outside

by   shellybelly43 ,  Dec 11, 2005
Pros: comfort, roomy, powerful, great in the winter
Cons: Gas mileage, large blind spot, not as easy to park as the old camry
Review: I was considering buying a car until we purchased a Golden Retriever. I went to the car dealer looking for a 4runner. They were just not big enough. Then I test drove the sequoia which is a truck. Well I fell in love with it. It is big enough to fit ...

2005 Toyota Sequoia Limited- Rocks

by   dalpaige ,  Dec 21, 2004
Pros: Stylish, roomy and very comfy.
Cons: Expensive to own. As with any large SUV, gas mileage is poor (15/18)
Review: Great Vehicle! Very roomy, new for 2005 are the second row, Captain's chairs with center console, very comfy for passengers. Also, I love the 2 driver memory, which automatically resets the seat positions when switching between two drivers. 6 disc CD ...

Great Large SUV

by   davidjryan ,  Dec 13, 2005
Pros: Smooth, Powerful, Roomy, Excellent Quality
Cons: Blind Spots in Side Rear View Mirrors
Review: I bought my Sequoia because I needed a big vehicle for my business. I've usually owned small German cars so I switched to a Japanese monster reluctantly. But I love the Sequoia. It's roomy, smooth, easy to drive and it has plenty of power. Every ...

Great family car

by   emkristine ,  Aug 22, 2006
Pros: lots of room, split 3rd row, middle row seat folds up and locks in place
Cons: rides more like a truck than a car
Review: This car was worth every penny. I have 3 kids in car seats and it is the only one we could find that I can leave one of the seats in the middle row folded so that I can have a car seat easy to reach in the back row. The back row is split so there is ...

2005 Sequoia

by   brucedurbin ,  Mar 23, 2005
Pros: build quality, roominess, power, handling, size, style
Cons: with any SUV, the gas mileage
Review: The 2005 model now has 282 HP and with that has plenty of power. It also is larger inside than the GMC SUV or Cadillac Escalade. The build quality, attention to detail, styling and smooth ride make it an excellent choice. It also has the highest ...

I've Owned TWO - Nice SUV - seats 8, Couple of "Toyota" issues

by   angemam ,  Dec 14, 2007
Pros: Beautiful lines, tight & stiff ride (trucklike) - Handles great in snowy Colorado.
Cons: "Torque" lunging & battery issue, Difficult to own children's carseats & access 3rd row
The Bottom Line: A family with dogs-great car. With kids & carseats-marginal. Family w/ older kids-Awesome. The torque issue & weak battery are a PAIN IN THE HINEY.
Review: Nice styling, running boards are a must if you are under 5'10" - a tall climb. Stiff steering & ride (which I like vs. the GMC marshmallow Denali XL -which I also own...) I have enjoyed the Sequoia enough to own 2 of them. My biggest complaints with ...
