After owning a Shi??ty Truck, finally a good car

by   shadowfall1976 ,  Feb 25, 2006
Pros: roomy, great styling, plenty of power (4 cyl), the 17" wheels are cool looking.
Cons: Tricky to get used to take offs, but that may just be me
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this car, it is a great car, and I am not sold on Fords very easily.
Review: I now own a new Fusion SEL with a 4 cyl & a 5 Speed automatic with the 17" SEL 5 (split) Spoke rims with P225/VR50 Michelin Pilot MXM4 tires. After spending 3 years with the 2003 Ranger me and my wife owned, a moped would have been better. ...

Worth A Second Look

by   diego7979 ,  Jul 12, 2006
Pros: Price, Room, Ride, Fuel
Cons: When I find them I will let you know.
The Bottom Line: I would buy this car if you are in the market because of the bang for your buck!
Review: When selecting a car I was not so concerned about the look as I was about the price I would pay for the car and the price I would pay at the pump. I also wanted a car that was comfortable for this 250 lb, 6’ 3” man. What a surprise that I found what I ...

I LOVE THIS CAR!

by   beatrice3 ,  Aug 14, 2006
Pros: Handles beautifully. Quiet ride (mine does) very comfortable seats, roomy, great climate control.
Cons: Turning radius, could be a little better.
The Bottom Line: Very pleased with the performance and appearance of this car. High tech style inside and out. Quiet ride, roomy and sporty. As Fun as a Sports Car. LOVE IT!
Review: The Fusion is very impressive to look at. The lights, grill, tires and lines are striking. This is my third Ford Vehicle and so far my favorite. I've test driven a Camry and liked the Fusion much better. It's sporty yet has a luxury feel and it's ...

Ford scores a hit in the mid-size class

by   ghoulish66 ,  Nov 25, 2007
Pros: Price, comfort, well equipped and lots of pep from a 4 cylinder
Cons: Handles like a much larger car, ABS optional.
The Bottom Line: If you want luxury, options and performance at an economy price this is the car for you.
Review: Ford's replacement for the original Taurus is a perfect 'Fusion' of price, performance and style. I can't begin to say enough positive things about my Fusion SEL. It's roomy, comfortable and stylish for a mid-size sedan and its 2.3L Intec 4 engine ...

This car is amazing and a GREAT buy!

by   hottie30f ,  Mar 8, 2007
Pros: Front grille, drives well, 6-disc CD changer in dash, beautiful interior, lots of compliments!
Cons: Would've gone with a 6-cylinder instead, but love it anyway!
The Bottom Line: Definitely test drive this car, you will fall in love with it!!
Review: I turned in my Ford Escape last May and I decided to lease the 2006 Ford Fusion SE, 4 cylinder. I went with the Charcoal Beige color. It looks dark beige during the day and dark charcoal gray at night. Upon picking it up, I fell in love with everything ...

Great Car for the money

by   bienfang84 ,  Dec 12, 2005
Pros: Sufficiently powered engine. Impressive handling. Responsive suspension and steering. Best car bang for buck. Styling.
Cons: Car is sometimes confused on how many gears to downshift in highway.
Review: After looking at the more expensive Camry and Accord this car really shined. After test driving the Accord and Camry I was impressed until I test drove the V6 SEL Fusion. This car to me seemed more fun to drive then the car it gets it platform from, the ...

Value for the money

by   fusionist ,  Oct 2, 2008
Pros: Style, willingness, handling, dependability.
Cons: Turning circle. In tight spots it's like trying to turn an aircraft carrier.
Review: I bought the first Fusion (an SEL) I saw just about 3 years because of its good looks, something I never did before. Since then it's logged 55,000 km in transcontinental trips and over gravel roads in backwoods Quebec. I love its combination of nimble ...

2006 Ford Fusion

by   ohmysavannah ,  Jan 1, 2007
Pros: Great looking, great gas mileage.
Cons: Very angled back window, hard to see out of.
Review: My reasoning for buying this car was i needed to get better gas mileage, and i needed a functional vehicle. This car was extremely comfortable. I got the SEL version. It is a sporty, good looking car, and I love it. Averaging 28 miles or more per gallon ...

I wanted to get from Point A to Point B affordably, comfortably and safely

by   pgurrisi ,  May 1, 2006
Pros: Interior room, Styling, Comfort, price, number of standard options.
Cons: interior material finishes. anemic 4 cyl and 5spd auto combination.
The Bottom Line: Overall it is exactly what I was looking for, a great car with a good balance of affordability, safety and size, and styling. A few negatives, that are easily overlooked.
Review: In reading reviews on this car I never found a single professional review on the base model 4 cylinder. Only the $26K SEL with the V6. So I hope this helps. I was looking for a good commuter car that was of reasonable size that I could put my 5 ...

A great buy

by   esfetempo ,  Feb 19, 2006
Pros: Edgy styling, responsive handling, good material feel, base price, stereo, reat seat room.
Cons: I-4 acceleration and noise, HVAC noise/slow speed, overall fit and finish, visibility, over-the-top styling.
Review: The Fusion is a good buy with it's low base price, edgy styling, responsiveness, good material feel, and a kickin stereo. It lacks in overall fit and finish, including the airbag cover being very loose and large gaps. The trip computer is fairly user ...
