Pros: Interior room, quiet, good power, power doors, stylish looking (for a mini-van)
Cons: Gas consumption
The Bottom Line: I would definitely recommend this minivan for families. The size makes it easy to access the back seat when your child drops that favorite toy!
Review: We bought our Kia Sedona in the Fall of 2007 with 12,000 miles on it. The vehicle was in like new condition! Since our purchase, we have put another 15,000 miles on it and have not had one problem with the van. Although the Kia came with a decent ...

Safest Van Out There

Pros: SAFETY, SAFETY, SAFETY; Excellent price; Good fit and finish.
Cons: Really looked down upon by snotty, Toyota/Honda minivan-driving, class-conscious (though ironically self-professed "liberal") soccer moms.
The Bottom Line:
The safest van made with good fit-n-finish at a great price. Review: My wife and I bought this 2006 van in 2007 with only 5,000 miles on it because it was the safest minivan tested for front, side, and rear impacts. It beat the Honda and the Toyota....and every other minivan too. We've always driven Volvos for their ...

Pros: Cost efficient, reliable, safe, stylish, peppy, modern
Cons: Chugs ethanol based gas much quicker than regular unleaded without ethanol.
The Bottom Line: You need to buy this van, it's got the best value for its dollar, and you won't be disappointed.
Review: I rented a Hyundai Entourage on a family vacation, and absolutely loved it. Yes, I know this review is for the Kia Sedona, bear with me. Upon returning from our trip, I persistently researched the minivan market, making sure that this was going to be the ...

Pros: Great leg and head room. Super safety features. Very kid friendly!
Cons: No complaints!
The Bottom Line: Kia has totally given us a new perspective on the minivan. It's comfortable, reliable, kid friendly, and fun to drive!
Review: When my husband and I looked at the 2006 Kia Sedona, we had just purchased a 2006 Dodge Caravan. We were instantly sad that we had gone with the Dodge instead. About 6 months later, we traded in the Dodge for the Sedona and have been extremely happy ever ...

Kia Sedona 2006 Not Your Old Mom Mobile

Pros: Safest van, great warranty, tons of features, great price, long trips very comfortable
Cons: That it isnt paid off! LOL.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommend the Kia Sedona, if you still want more seating than a car and tons of storage but don't want to sacrifice, luxury, convenience, pocketbook or safety.
Review: Okay, my 14 year old Dodge Caravan was paid off for years, and nothing really wrong with it (at the moment). I kept telling myself whenever I get a new car since the kids are older now (11 and 14) it would NOT be another van, i.e. mom mobile. I was going ...

Pros: Tons of standard features. Awesome ride. Great, real power from the engine.
Cons: Price mostly non-negotiable. They claim no factory rebates on the Sedona.
Review: My wife and I have two kids and the 4-door mid-sized sedan was proving insufficient for our daily needs. We dreaded the search for a -gulp!- minivan only to be pleasantly surprised by how well the Sedona fit our tastes. It feels like a strong vehicle ...

Pros: Power, great ride, comfort features, price/value, styling
Cons: Flip down DVD player in EX comes at the expense of 3 inches of headroom.
Review: Never thought I'd own a Kia... til I drove one that is! In the course of looking at replacements for our old Grand Caravan, I ended up at a Nissan/KIA dealer. Fortuneately a salesperson was able to talk me into at least researching the Sedona. I ...

The Koreans are now one big step closer to dominating the minivan segment |
|||
|
Pros: A major improvement over the first Sedona; quick, roomy, good handling
Cons: Lacks a few features, not as smooth riding as Honda or Toyota, price higher
The Bottom Line: A very good van at a reasonable price. Substantially improved in just about every way.
Review: The first-generation Kia Sedona (click for my review) sold entirely based on price. Smaller, heavier, and much thirstier than the segment leaders, Kia has been forced to pile ever larger rebates--$6,000 ...

Van for the Vain!

Pros: Luxury, power, loads of features, best entertainment system around.
Cons: No jack for Ipod!!! Could use more driver legroom.
The Bottom Line: A AWD Sienna is the best minivan for 10K more on a loaded one, but the kia is runnerup. So far so good...we're happy with it and impressed.
Review: Yes, you'll need to get past any stigma associated with the Kia name. Kia is climbing the ladder just like Honda and Audi did years ago and gaining respect as their cars improve. We checked out the Honda and Toyota entries and the Kia just seemed to do ...

Pros: Safety, reliability, capacity.
Cons: Captain's chairs need to be redesigned.
The Bottom Line: I would only recommend the Sedona if you couldn't afford something else (like us at the time).
Review: We've had our van, it's a 2006 LX, for almost 2 years and as such we've had a lot of time to note the good and the bad. First off, the safety rating is wonderful. We've never been in a serious accident but I think we'd be ok if we ever were (*knock ...
