Pros: doesn't need supervision, cleans efficiently and quickly
Cons: battery dies faster then i'd like
The Bottom Line: Although the technology will continue to improve, we've arrived at a point where this is no longer techno-geek fun, but in fact something the average person can use.
Review: I live in a very, very old, very small apartment that I share with 5 other people, 2 of whom are possible the most disgusting human beings on earth. Granted, considering the size of my apartment (guesstimate 1,500 square feet, but that is just a guess) ...

Pros: Pro on short/medium carpet/hard floors. I can clean other areas while it cleans my floors!
Cons: Target!, customer service asking for purchase info immediately
The Bottom Line: Unless you have thick carpet, try it. None of the bad stuff you've heard we true for me. I have never enjoyed (not) vacuuming so much or had cleaner floors!
Review: I saw the commercial on TV for iRobot Roomba Discovery 4210 while at work and was intrigued. I immediately did what any smart person does when they see something interesting but expensive on TV...I looked it up on epinions. The reviews were ...

Pros: It actually works!
Cons: Durability can be an issue.
The Bottom Line: You might want to go with the Roomba Red instead - but either way, robotic vacuuming rocks!
Review: My wife and I have been fans of Roomba since the very first model. In fact, we were fans before the first model even came out -- we just didn't know it'd be Roomba. Owning dogs, yet hating to vacuum, a robotic vacuum was precisely what we'd desperately ...

Pros: Almost effortless, gets under and around furniture a traditional vacuum wouldn't.
Cons: Leaves some areas unvacuumed, can pickup large items and occasionally jam.
The Bottom Line: Although it's not a 100% replacement for a true vacuum cleaner, 90% is pretty good! It has it's quirks, but the convenience far outweighs most of them.
Review: Being a household with a large parrot, there was the constant fight of trying to keep our living room floor clean and presentable. When we received a Roomba Discovery for Christmas from a relative this past Christmas, I was half excited, and half ...

Pros: Gets more cat hair out of carpet than anything
Vacuum while you're asleep or away
Cons: Have to keep your floor tidy
Have to have cords off the ground
Slow
The Bottom Line: If you wish you could vacuum more often but do not have the time, this is for you
Review: Price paid: $300 CAD, on sale from $400 at Canadian Tire Included in the box: This was a retail package. It contained the Roomba, the Advanced Power system charger, base station, two virtual walls, remote control, wall mount and spare filter. ...

Pros: Easy to use, Easy to clean it out, Minimal changes to my house required
Cons: Fairly expensive, not fast (so?!), small bin
The Bottom Line: Unless it becomes a breakdown fiasco, this is a must for lazy people and/or geeks. I happen to fit both of those requirements.
Review: I have had my Roomba for exactly 24 hours, and it is an outstanding product. I have a dog with long hair that sheds often, and it is impossible for me to keep up with all the shedding. Already, I can tell how much it's going to help, since within about 4 ...

Pros: Cleans great, smart, easy to use, lets you multi-task or rest, tough, excellent customer support.
Cons: Dustbin small, can get stuck up on things, won't pick up big pieces of debris.
The Bottom Line: Highly recommended. Cleans as well as my upright. Cleans corners, under beds and furniture. Easy to use, time and energy saving, great customer service.
Review: Introduction to Roomba: Just before Christmas, I saw the Roomba 'in action' in a commercial on TV. I told my husband that it would be absolutely perfect for me and on Christmas Day, it was waiting for me under the tree. It was love at first sight and ...

Pros: Cleans the place without you being home.
Cons: Can't find the base.
The Bottom Line: I think it's worth having around the house if you aren't home a lot and don't really want to "waste" the time you are home vacuuming.
Review: I have to be honest, I am very lazy. Luckily for me, my boyfriend is not and he likes a clean house, so he vacuums with the nifty Dyson Cyclone Animal. I've heard a lot about the roomba from friends and since I like toys, that's why I bought one for ...

Pros: Replaces tile floor brooming and reduces my regular vacuuming to once in six months.
Cons: Doesn't dust my bookshelves, end tables, nor couches and chairs. :-)
The Bottom Line: Works better than I expected. I strongly recommend this product.
Review: I'm the kind of guy who often let's weekly vacuuming slip into biweekly vacuuming because I really hate the chore of pulling out the heavy central vacuum hose and slowly letting the carpet beater brush do its work (pushing too fast is not efficient and ...

Pros: Cleans like supposed to. More entertaining than TV. Quiet enough to work in next room.
Cons: Gags on clutter, electrical cords. Price a little steep. Don't throw your other vacuum away.
The Bottom Line: Expensive and requires some initial attention to get your place "Roomba-proofed," but it does what it's supposed to and is worth its while. Highly entertaining.
Review: You'll love it if you like gadgets and 'neat stuff' and will only be disappointed if you were thinking you could sell your other vacuum cleaner. It works more or less as advertised, but don't expect Roomba to be able to deal with clutter, electrical ...
