My Internet Porn Has Never Looked This Good

by   randomkill ,  Feb 7, 2004
Pros: ATI Support, Stability, Length of Product Lifetime, HAPPY FUN potential!
Cons: It needs to plug into your power supply. Massive amounts of wires.
The Bottom Line: This The Bottom Line brought to you by Janet Jacksons right nipple.
Review: I find the older I get the more I am all about the joys of instant gratification. This means I do not want to do mountains of research and review endless pages of geeks arguing over the respective capabilities of certain sound cards or even worse over ...

The end-all, be all of 2nd gen graphics cards.

by   foood4thought ,  Apr 17, 2005
Pros: Gaming, TV, dual monitors, video out, video in
Cons: nothing
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this card to anyone who games or wants to watch/capture TV/home movies on their computer.
Review: Please Note: I bought this card refurbed, so I didn't get the drivers and cables, so I really can't comment on out-of-the-box installation. This card rocks. Not only does it play every game I've come across (minus Doom 3) with all settings maxed @ ...

A wonderful card that will satisfy gamers and digi-artists

by   anatole1030 ,  Feb 1, 2004
Pros: Beautiful, Smooth Graphics, Excellent software support
Cons: Driver upgrades difficult, MASSIVE POWER DRAIN
The Bottom Line: It is absolutely worth the money if you are going to use everything, however, if you don't need all the inputs and outputs, don't bother getting the All-in-Wonder.
Review: This is THE card if you are both a gamer and a multimedia enthusiast. This card is more expensive, though, than you might want to spend if you don't have to be on the bleeding edge. If you are a low key gamer (i.e. you won't have to play Half-Life 2 or ...

One of the best cards I've ever owned

by   norsoulnet ,  Oct 31, 2006
Pros: Great Performance, low price, best low-cost AGP solution
Cons: large power-draw, underpowered for new games
The Bottom Line: If you have an AGP slot, and don't want to spend north of $150, this is the best card you can get
Review: I bought this card early 2003 for around $200-$300. I actually bought the 64mb version because it was a faster card in all aspects (uses faster RAM so it was faster in all benchmarks than the 128mb version) while being considerably cheaper. ...

Smokin

by   meltdown213 ,  Mar 16, 2004
Pros: Multimedia beast, Amazing video game graphics, TIVO
Cons: Will heat up your box.
Review: This card is great. It out performs the nvida 5950($500.00) on a third of the video games and is just barley below it on the rest. I play the Far Cry demo(the most graphically intensive game to date) at full everything at 1280x1024 resolution with out a ...

The All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro: Before Media PC's and XP Media Center Edition came the All-in-Wonder

by   nc10 , lead in Computer Hardware at Epinions.com ,  Sep 12, 2004
Pros: ThruView translucent window for Video playback, efficient high quality encoding, strong 3d gaming peformance
Cons: Difficult but frequent driver and software upgrades
The Bottom Line: The AIW 9800 Pro sets the standard for multimedia video cards, making the multimedia PC with great 3d video gaming performance a reality for many users.
Review: The ATI All-In-Wonder 9800 Pro (AIW 9800 Pro) is “the” video card for PC enthusiastics looking for high end gaming performance and a complete set of multimedia entertainment tools in one package. Released in of June 2003, the AIW 9800 ...

A worthwhile upgrade for AIW fans

by   Ames100 ,  Sep 23, 2005
Pros: Mainstream graphics performance, great bundle of TV/Video features, compatibility
Cons: Buggy Multimedia Center software, awful software update procedures, poor support
The Bottom Line: If you want a great TV/Video bundle, and you can put up with buggy software, can't beat the AIW.
Review: I’ve just upgraded to the ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 9800 Pro graphics card after using the nearly-identical AIW 9000 Pro in my home desktop PC for the last 2 years (yes, I’m a bit behind the bleeding edge – I prefer a mainstream bargain!). I already ...

ATI All-In-Wonderful

by   woofercooker ,  Apr 8, 2005
Pros: Awesome Graphics, TV on your computer
Cons: Drains a lot of power, Drivers can be difficult at times.
Review: This card is insane. I use this card to play Need For Speed Underground 2. The graphics are amazing. It runs flawlessly. The only real problems I have found with it is that it drains a lot of power and the drivers can be less than cooperative sometimes. ...

All in Wonderful When it Works

by   dcfield21 ,  Apr 3, 2006
Pros: The card gets high marks for video quality when it works.
Cons: RMAs take 10 days. You need working video card to get RMA(online)LOUD FAN!
The Bottom Line: Don't buy ATI unless you don't mind waiting 2 weeks or more for RMA. Works well (when it works), but a very loud fan. Customer Service gets -4 stars.
Review: I bought this card for a new system. Out of the box the drivers didn't work right. After waiting 3 days for a long Canadian holiday I got through to customer service who walked me through the driver install on their website. The card worked very well ...
