ATI AIW 7500 64meg DDR-Updated October 6,2004

by   dragon1 ,  Mar 24, 2004
Pros: Has all the options of newer cards(AIW) Clear and all the video resolutions I want
Cons: Not the fastest video card not for gammers needing a faster card
The Bottom Line: It had even more than i expected for the price-as long as you are not a gamer it is an excellent card
Review: I had been using the Nvidia TNT2 video card with a Haupauge WinTV card for some months(tested XP Home from about beta 5 on). I had saved up about $150 for a new card(January of 2003). I wanted a all in one card. So i started looking for a card in my ...

by   ziggrl ,  May 4, 2003
Pros: Does exactly what it supposed to do!! I'm having so much fun with this card!!
Cons: Updated drivers from ATI didn't work Wish it could capture streaming video from the web.
The Bottom Line: I recommend the All-In-Wonder Radeon 7500 because it gives so much for so little.
Review: Update: I currently running an AMD Athlon XP2000 system at 1.66ghz with 512MB memory. The video card's drivers are version 6.13.10.3286 from 10/26/2001. My sound card is a Sound Blaster Live Value. See below for performance update.

Excellent for video capturing

by   hitrack ,  Sep 10, 2003
Pros: Price, video capture is excellent
Cons: Not up to gaming anymore
The Bottom Line: Go for a 9000AIW, or even a 9600AIW (if it's out yet) if you can afford it.
Review: The ATI Radeon 7500 is getting old by todays cards, but with that said it can still hold it's own for video capture. If your at all into 3d gaming this card will not do at all. The GPU is clocked at 260mhz, while the memory is clocked at 180. With the hel ...

overall ok

by   tonyso ,  Jun 6, 2003
Pros: combined video display and tuner/capture with agp 4x
Cons: software problems known by ATI but not fixed
The Bottom Line: Although cheaper to get video card and tuner card separately, this combo card works well under XP and has many useful features, but also some software feature problems.
Review: I had a regular 7500 and decided to upgrade to the all in wonder 7500 for the video tuner/capture rather than install a second video tuner only card, and in terms on installing on a new 2.4ghz pc with XP I had no problems.

Graphics Card Performs Horribly

by   trojanhorse ,  Jan 12, 2003
Pros: Good Video and Guide is good
Cons: Horrible Drivers--Does not work most of the time
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend it because it does not work consistently and there are problems when shutting the program down.
Review: I have had the card for 6 months now and keep running into trouble with it. If you use for any amount of time longer than a few minutes, the programs will not shut down unless you end up ending task. It is inconsistent and does not work well when it...

Great card if you can get it working until you run updates

by   sobedaemon ,  Oct 4, 2003
Pros: Provides many features and a great software package.
Cons: This has been the most troublesome device I have ever purchased for my computer.
Review: This is a great card when you can get it to work. When you do finally get it to work be prepared for ATI to release numerous updates. In addition also be prepared to experience conflicts with the software when you run windows updates. Keeping up with t ...
