Pros: Truth is eternal.
Cons: There are none.
The Bottom Line: Reading this play in the light of contemporary politics will be enlightening.

Good Reading, Great Play, So-So Film

Pros: historically accurate and in depth look at a true Renaissance man
Cons: moves slowly in places. some REALLY long monologues
Review: Sir Thomas More is a fascinating historical figure. Here was a man who, at the cost of his own life, was willing to challenge the King of England. In Robert Bolt's play, "A Man For All Seasons," More is represented with depth and sensitivity....
