Pros: Under $1200, SuperDrive, Built-in Wireless and Bluetooth, Apple Service, User Friendly, 14" Display
Cons: Display not as crisp as 12", OS/iLife uses 13GB harddrive space, surface stays dirty easily
The Bottom Line: I wanted to create my home recording studio and the iBook helped me do that for under $1200. Now I can program, record, mix and burn my very own music.
Review: After reading this review, please visit my web page to hear the music produced, written and performed by me - Gareth - using this new iBook: www.myspace.com/thisisgareth How I ended up buying the Apple iBook G4 notebook: When I bought my first ...

Pros: No anti virus software needed.
Cons: Hands get uncomfortable if typing for a long period of time.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend the iBook G4 or any MAC computer because of the ease of use and because you don't have the virus concerns.
Review: We had Windows systems for 10 years before we went with MACs. My husband was the first to jump the Windows ship. He got an iBook G4 and he loved it so much I bought my daughter and I one. I've had mine for about a year and a half. I haven't had one ...

Pros: Charge the battery, turn it on and off you go. It's that easy.

Pros: Pretty, Simple-to-use, no networking problems. Best battery life I've seen in a notebook
Cons: Getting used to a different OS, the pretty look does show of scratching a little.
The Bottom Line: I'd recommend the G4 iBook to anyone looking for a first-time laptop. It isn't a workhorse for high end programs, but is very simple and fun to use.
Review: After looking for a laptop that could be used for a replacement desktop we settled on the Apple iBook. It had the power to run our everyday program, and also gave us an opportunity to experiment with an OS that we'd never tried before. The laptop is ...

Pros: Great display, handles multiple apps at once, user friendly.
Cons: Slowish boot up and shut down, speakers could be louder, runs a little hot.
The Bottom Line: Buy it if you find a good deal on it. It isn't the latest model, but is a great overall versatile machine.
