Great Item - Especially for a Starter IPOD

by   kel924 ,  Feb 18, 2008
Pros: Easy and perfect for beginners. 1 GB will actually hold quite a bit of music.
Cons: Not good if you have an extremely large library of music.
The Bottom Line: This is definitely an item worth purchasing. Easy to use and a great beginner ipod.
Review: I received my ipod after my husband came home from Walmart stating that they had a 'bigger and better' ipod at Walmart for a very good price. He was comparing his current ipod (apple ipod nano, 1GB). I had not jumped on the IPOD bandwagon at this point ...

A convenient, stylish, music companion

by   emle1183 ,  Aug 18, 2006
Pros: Sleek, light-weight, hours of entertainment
Cons: Not cheap, may be confusing at first
The Bottom Line: This is a product that has become as important to me as my cell phone. It's addicting for anyone who loves their music.
Review: I absolutely love my ipod nano. It is something that I take with me everywhere I go: in the car, on a run, cleaning, studying, on the beach, anywhere. It is a luxury I am admittedly spoiled by, as are most of my peers. WHAT IS AN IPOD? For those ...

Great MP3 Player

by   onepremise ,  Nov 5, 2006
Pros: Great Sound, affordable, nice interface
Cons: scratches easily
Review: What can I say, Apple really nailed this market. The nano series has to be Apple's best model yet. Granted the 1GB model is kinda small but it still has all the same features as the models with more RAM. If there are only a select few groups you like to ...

Best Music Player I have

by   jtmax24 ,  Mar 17, 2009
Pros: Easy to use even for an older mp3 player
Cons: No Video
Review: I love my ipod nano. I purchased it about two years ago, but it still is a fabulous player. It is recognized immediately with Windows and Linux. It is still sweet and the battery life will still give me about 3 to 5 hours on a full charge. I also use it ...

Apple iPod Nano - My Favorite Little Black Book of Songs

by   tchoate ,  Nov 11, 2006
Pros: Compact little music player
Cons: Some controls
The Bottom Line: iPod Nano is great for listening to your music while you are on the go.
Review: I am one of those people who purchased the iPod Nano to amuse myself during my commute to work. After riding the light rail system to work and back everyday, I was looking for something to make my 45 minute ride one way more enjoyable. I had ...

iPod Nano - The Apple of Apple's Eye

by   mrrenison ,  Feb 26, 2006
Pros: A Compact, Cool, & Modern Technological Wonder
Cons: That Frustrating Center Wheel/Button, iTunes Software
The Bottom Line: Apple's little music player gets smaller in size, larger in capacity, and strengthens its position as the coolest and best of the portable music players with the iPod Nano.
Review: I remember in the 80's when Apple computers were the symbol of counter-culture coolness in the computer world. But after giving their creator and mastermind Steve Jobs the boot, they started to lose their way and nearly fell victim to the Microsoft ...

It's a great MP3 player!

by   neverthere12 ,  Mar 25, 2007
Pros: Great device with cool features like picture slideshows with music.
Cons: None.
The Bottom Line: Buy it because it has a lot of good features.
Review: I got the black 1GB apple iPod Nano for a gift. I really like it because its really thin and easy to carry. Its easy to carry when I exercise. It carries about 500 songs. It's easy to locate the music on the iPod you can search for it on the menu options ...

A Sony Walkwhat?

by   joebogey ,  May 12, 2006
Pros: Size, simplicity, sound.
Cons: Headphones, not able to copy over cassette collection.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this to anyone looking to carry their sound with them, you hardly know it's there and it can accommodate quite a few songs.
Review: I received the 1GB Nano as a Christmas present, and began to load CD after CD onto it. Once you get use to the interface of iTunes, it's rather easy and effortless to load your songs. I currently have 437 songs, plus about 4 podcasts, loaded consuming ...

I'm hooked on iPod

by   momn8r0306 ,  Jul 15, 2006
Pros: Sound quality; size; storage capacity
Cons: Easy to lose; cost; lack of detailed documentation in packaging
The Bottom Line: Honestly, it's not a lot of money for what you get (I'm just cheap).
Review: My husband mentioned last year he had wanted to get me an iPod for my birthday - but the one he was looking at was around $500. At the time, I was aghast that he would consider spending that much on my birthday present - also, an iPod was the absolute ...

Not bad for Travel

by   kolop1 ,  Apr 16, 2006
Pros: Good for travel
Cons: Small storage, not for the power user.
Review: The 1 gig Ipod nano is not a bad device. The sound is goos and you can store about 270 songs on it. It is good for a long flight, or a vacation. If you are looking to put an entire cd collection on it though you would be better off buying a 30-60 gig ...
