Re-Shuffling My Point of View

by   customeright ,  Apr 8, 2007
Pros: Very small, excellent sound quality.
Cons: No radio tuner.
The Bottom Line: A purpose-built player with just the right features. Not a music library storage solution, but a super small and extremely light-weight player with excellent sound and ample battery life.
Review: What do electronics stores and grocery stores have in common? Apples. They both carry different colors, types, and assortments. There is also another similarity: a bad one can spoil the bunch. That was the case for me when thinking about buying a ...

Cute, tiny and lightweight with great sound

by   owlwatcher974 ,  Apr 5, 2007
Pros: Small, lightweight, durable with good sound quality and long battery life.
Cons: Small enough to get easily lost.
The Bottom Line: The 2nd generation iPod shuffle is a great little mp3 player that can be taken just about anywhere.
Review: I was never much of a fan of the iPod shuffles after having one of the 1st generation shuffles. The 1st generation shuffle had a bad habit of shuffling between only half of the songs on the playlist which drove me nuts when I wanted to hear a particular ...

An Apple For College

by   mrsblackbear ,  Sep 23, 2008
Pros: This iPod is small, lightweight, and can hold up to 240 songs.
Cons: no display screen, don't know where your songs are on the playlist.
The Bottom Line: I will continue to promote this product
Review: As a college student that could not drive and living in an apartment off campus I had a 25 minute walk to and from campus everyday; while walking to school I enjoyed listening to music. My music player for the first quarter I lived in those apartments ...

Not half bad

by   blueskydestine ,  Dec 28, 2007
Pros: Easy installation - very stable
Cons: No DVD movie support?
The Bottom Line: I was surprised. Despite the fact that the casual user really has no other choice, it does what it is supposed to do with some style.
Review: Let me say right from the start that I am not a Microsoft fan in any way shape or form. But I have to tell you XP has proven to be a very stable operating system with lots of features. My computer experience goes back to the old Commodore 64 and punch ...

Great for casual listeners and those on-the-go

by   lulaah ,  Mar 7, 2007
Pros: compact, clip on the back, pretty colors now, long battery life
Cons: no screen, only holds 240 songs
The Bottom Line: I like it and it is a nice option to have when you are heading to the gym or for a stroll around the neighborhood.
Review: Okay, I know that it seems funny to praise the new ipods for being portable. I know that ALL ipods are portable; I have just been particularly impressed with the design of this most recent generation. I just got a blue shuffle for my birthday and so ...

Good Enough For What I Want

by   Darkmistress ,  Dec 5, 2007
Pros: sturdy, long battery life, lots of memory
Cons: decides what you should listen to and when
The Bottom Line: Easy to use as long as you don't expect it to do what you tell it to.
Review: Several months ago my husband got a gift certificate to Shinseagae for the parents in his class. This is a verboten practice at our school, but what are they going to do, fire us? Anyway, he had decided that he wanted a Shuffle because he wanted to take ...

Want a pretty accessory that plays music, too?

by   tjhassecrets ,  Mar 19, 2009
Pros: Great controls.
Cons: Software; sound quality; docking cable is propreitary. Battery life could be better.
The Bottom Line: Great for runners, but this player is going to annoy a lot of people because of iTunes and the lack of great sound quality.
Review: iPods are shoddy, and iPods aren't worth their price tag. Let's just establish from the start that I'm not a fan on this line of overpriced mp3 players. That said, I was fairly impressed by the original iPod Shuffle, which was a long, white USB stick ...

Apple Ipod Shuffle

by   boxerlover ,  Jan 16, 2008
Pros: cute
Cons: hard to make a playlist, shuffles whenever it feels like it
The Bottom Line: I do not recommend this product because it shuffles at random, with the shuffle off, and is hard to upload.
Review: My boyfriend purchased one of these to listen to while his partner is driving them from job to job. We thought it would be perfect because it was small enough to be hidden away easily, and it holds 240 songs, so that's enough to keep his ears entertained ...
