Great stereo mic--especially for on-location recording.

Pros: Easy to set up. People would think you set up separate mics to record music.
Cons: Cannot switch to external phantom power. Battery-operated.
Review: I've had an AT822 in my reporter "crash kit" for about five years. It's a splendid stereo mic that doubles as a great mono condenser when need be. I've done live, ad-hoc location music recording with it and the sound is terrific. AT makes nice stuff. ...
