Pros: Definitely points out bad boys
Cons: points out bad boys!
The Bottom Line: Bad Boys We all love them, and now we can see why!! Captivating read, and grabs you right from the start.
Review: Let just say I adore this book. I picked it up on Wednesday night(on that horrible night V Day) and I immediately got to reading!! Also this review contains MAJOR details about the book, so if you are not interested in learning these details I...

Bad Boy = a Good Read!

by   Cara4fun ,  Apr 14, 2001
Pros: Breezy, humorous style; great vacation reading
Cons: Plot is very predictable and characters are underdeveloped
The Bottom Line: Note to Jerry Weintraub: pick up the film option on this one!
Review: Every woman I know has loved a "bad boy"; for me, it was Chris, the surfer dude, who rode his motorcycle as fiercely as he rode the waves, and who freaked my dad out when he'd pick me up for dates barefooted. Luckily, I got over my "bad boy" obsession...

This book is delicious

by   cmoonchild ,  Jan 18, 2004
Pros: Snappy, gossipy writing; good characters
Cons: Trashy as all heck
Review: This is the second Olivia Goldsmith book I've devoured in one night, the first being Young Wives. Olivia's writing is like a wickedly delicious dessert — you can't stop reading it, but you feel guilty afterward. I guess I gravitated toward ...

Tracie Higgins is a disgrace to women

by   bohemian_vixen ,  Jul 10, 2002
Pros: entertaining, funny, feel-good, satirical
Cons: predictable, very much a fairy tale ending, typical romance story
The Bottom Line: Not a waste of time if you read the book. It's funny and entertaining. And light.
Review: Bad Boy is all in all a good book. Just expect a light reading that requires no thinking. If you're looking for suspense, don't read this book because it's so predictable.

However, the dialogue is funny and witty, and the events leading to...

Why are women attracted to Bad Boys?

by   micheler ,  Feb 5, 2001
Pros: Funny; great plot
Cons: Not as good as many other Olivia Goldsmith books
The Bottom Line: A decent read, and one that should be fairly quick to get through. A great plot however, but something was missing!
Review: Tracie and Jon have been friends for years. Every Sunday evening they meet for coffee and discussion of their forlorn love lives. Tracie is attracted to "Bad Boys". You know the type. Guys who are usually too good to be true. Jon falls for girls who...

Come on Olivia...

by   Aril ,  Mar 1, 2001
Pros: None I can think of
Cons: The whole book
The Bottom Line: Try First Wives Club or Flavor of the Month- better reading and it's not so pathetic.
Review: I have faithfully read every book that Olivia Goldsmith has written, and the last ones have gone downhill- but this one sucked so bad I felt my life slipping away as I read it. Pathetic women, slovenly jerks and an unrealistic plot make this one book to...
