by   Lark729_89 ,  Oct 25, 2002
Pros: Each page is simply gorgeous as well as informative.

Review: Here is a 60 plus page magazine where imagination and ingenuity take over in an all mass-produced world that will capture your complete attention from cover to cover. The unique birdhouses and home-made attractions in people's yards will entice you as...

Birds & Blooms, The Local Blue Jays Thank You

by   wirt44 ,  Aug 18, 2000
Pros: Easy to read, interesting photos and ideas
Cons: Not really aimed toward professional gardeners, if that's what you're looking for
Review: Is it odd to have a flock of blue jays waiting on you when you get home from work? I'm probably the only twenty-something woman in this college town who has five or six squawking wild birds greeting her arrival each evening.

I receive Birds...

Pros: Great photography, informative articles, readers are a large part of the magazine
Cons: subscription price is a bit hefty, but there are discounts.
