Pros: It's big and makes a large dough recipe. The duel mixers are an amazing invention.
Cons: The buttons would be a downfall along with not enough recipes that come with it.
Review: I got this Bread Machine for a christmas present. I was given recipes by members of my extended family and I have used all of them and love all of them. The bread machine successfully kneaded the dough TO PERFECTION and made a delicious bread. I love ...

Pros: Fairly easy to use
Cons: needs a light to indicate that the cycle has started
Review: I have a 1.5 / 2 lb machine and I bought one of these for a friend as a Christmas gift. After an initial glitch (my fault) the machine made 3 loaves during the festive season that were the best I have tasted. These were 2x the recipe values I used 3lb ...

Pros: 3 lb capacity, double paddles
Cons: controls a little hard to see
Review: I had a Sunbeam bread machine for 10 years with no problems and when it died I decided to replace it with a Cuisinart. I didn't like the Cuisinart so I returned it and got this one. I really like the 3 lb loaf capacity and the double paddles. The ...

Pros: liked the horizontal loaf size.
Cons: Black and Decker is not what it used to be...
Review: This is my third Black & Decker breadmaker. The first one I had lasted me 4 years. It was great. This model B2300 I bought the first one in September 2006 and one month later had to have it replaced. Today just over one year later it has started not ...

Pros: Good price, many settings, makes large loaves.
Cons: Built poorly, poor service
Review: I have owned two bread makers before buying this one. The first two each lasted eight or nine years. The Black and Decker one I bought five months ago is now sitting idle and broken. I am now eating grocery store bread because the little "c" clip that ...

Pros: Cheap
Cons: bulky, uneven baking, poor design lid
The Bottom Line: Don't waste your money, pay more and get a more durable machine. Plastic is not the best material for something designed to bake!
Review: After 8 wonderful years of service my Citizen breadmaker was beginning to look like it needed replacing. Canadian Tire had this model on offer Boxing Week and I got it for a great price of $49.95 which unfortunately is the only great thing about it! ...

Pros: Traditional rectangular loaves
Cons: Paddles fall off, shaft falls apart, loud beeping, hit and miss mixing.
The Bottom Line: Black and Decker dropped the ball on this one.
Review: I bought this as a gift for our family. At first we made a few mistakes common to first time breadmaker users. Once we got things figured out, we began to enjoy some wonderful bread. However, our frustration began to grow as we experienced a very hit and ...

Pros: It's white.
Cons: Engineered for assured failure or maybe just abysmal quality control, either way it's awful.
The Bottom Line: This machine not only fails miserably at it's main task of mixing, kneading and rising the dough I am convinced that it is downright dangerous. Don't buy this machine.
Review: My old Walmart brand ( Select Edition ) bread machine has given me years of excellent service but it is starting to look a bit dated so I decided to try out the Black and Decker B2300 bread machine mostly because it was on sale at Sears. I got it ...

Pros: Easy to program
Cons: Paddles stick, not enough recipes, recipes do not work
Review: I have used a Black & Decker bread machine before and absolutely loved it. Last year I received a Black & Decker B2300 Horizontal bread maker as a gift and was delighted. However my delight was short lived. What a piece of garbage. There are only ...

Pros: Bread pan is dishwasher safe.
Cons: Noisy, badly designed control panel, poor bread texture, etc.
Review: I bought this bread machine as a replacement for my Westbend when it died suddenly (since Westbend did not support their product). It was terrible from trying to see the controls to set them (if you make a mistake, you have to start over and, I had ...
