Pros: Outstanding writing and believable final chapter to a Texas trilogy
Cons: Hate to see the saga end
The Bottom Line: McMurtry writes with humor and compassion of the life of one man who could represent us all.
Review: I feel as though I have grown up with this trilogy. Just after I graduated from high school "The Last Picture Show" was written and turned into a great movie. "Texasville" was written about the 40ish crowd from Thalia, Texas, a fictional small town...
