Pros: Wonderful story and characters
Cons: Hard to separate from movie.
The Bottom Line: If you once read it for an assignment, read it again! If you have never read it, pick it up now!
Review: The story of Pygmalion is the first in my memory that captured me in all its forms: the classic myth, this play (in which I played a bit part once upon a time), the Broadway production, and the theatrical version, My Fair Lady....

Pros: While the movie and My Fair Lady are great, the pure story is best.
Cons: This play is masterfully crafted and perfect, it didn't need to be altered.
The Bottom Line: Shaw knew what he was doing when he wrote this. It's the pure, and best, version of the story. My Fair Lady's great, but make sure you read this too.

Pros: No monologues at all.
Cons: Nothing much other than that.
The Bottom Line: Buy it used. It's not worth the new price
