Pros: Good bass extension from a bookshelf Looks cool
Cons: No air No sparkle Muddy midrange
The Bottom Line: Buy another bookshelf

No highs, no lows - Bose

Pros: Clear midrange.
Cons: Overpriced. Poor performance on highs and lows.
Review: Like all Bose speakers the 301s are best when handling midrange. Bose knows that most people are not discerning listeners. They want clear sound in the midrange. Bose certainly delivers although not as crisp as I'd like. They have serious problems ...
