Pros: Low price and operating cost, very good text, fast
Cons: USB installation could be more seamless
Review: Someone call the men in the little white van. I'm about to do backflips over a printer. If I'm not losing my mind maybe I could get a date with the librarian in the Xerox ad who wrote a loveletter about her copier. (Fear the reproductive possibilities in...

Pros: Made in Dec 2000 and still works in July of 2008.
Cons: driver
300 dpi xp driver
600 dpi if you find another.
The Bottom Line: Get it if you can still find it, they made it before they thought of gouging for toner.
Review: When our newer laser died, I plunged this thing in and it worked. Some two reams later and it is still going strong. The other printer is less than a year old, but the warrantee doesn't help on Friday afternoon when you need to print now and it's down ...

The Bottom Line: Great for home, office, and school. Long lasting toner. Very easy to use. No jams, and excellent driver. Excellent value for your dollar.
Review: I bought the Brother 1240 laser printer 2 years ago for $300 at a computer expo. Since that time I've never experienced a technical problem. The text and graphs come out with sharp edges and crisp black and white finish (if your document is in color, the...

Pros: Price, Set-up, Quality
Cons: Limited expansion possibilities
Review: I used to own one of those top-loading bubble jet printers. After a few years, it started grabbing 10 sheets of paper at a time and printing sporadically.
When I started looking for a new printer, my roommate urged me to look into Laser. I... |

Pros: Fast, easy, solid. Very inexpensive toner.

Review: In the past I was working at OfficeMax, and saw this new Brother
printer in the back room. I had nothing but good experiences with brother, and this looked like a solid printer with great features. Some of the major features that stuck... |

Cons: Needs more documentation on CD
Review: I've had the opportunity to use a several brands of laser printer in office environment, most extensively the HP-4L. However when it came time to buy a printer for my home office I had only 2 criteria. I wouldn't by an inkjet...and it had to be cheap. I...

Pros: Nearly Jam-Free, nearly problem-free, fast, ultra-reliable, great print quality
Cons: Can't be networked.
The Bottom Line: As long as you do not need a printer which can print for a whole network of computers, you have no excuse for not buying this amazing and reliable printer.
Review: This is probably the best printer I have ever encountered!
- Taking up less space than many printers in its class, the 1240 has a tray which fits right into the base, so that you have a bit of extra room on your desk. - The... |
