Pros: Very powerful, very user friendly
Cons: Only has 32 kb of memory, 4 of which is taken up with programs
The Bottom Line: This in one awesome calculator! It is useful right up to and beyond tertiary. Very powerful. You won't find many problems this won't help you with.
Review: During exams, this calculator worked wonders! Information could be taken into the exams using this little piece of technology and used to cheat, even if the calculators were checked before hand. That is because of the amazing programming capabilities it...

Pros: Does a lot of math for the money.
Cons: Most high school kids buy the Texas Instruments, so CASIO users find themselves among the few.

Pros: Myriads of useful functions, easy to use, comprehensive display, affordable.
Cons: Colors can be confusing, limited memory.
The Bottom Line: The best option for those wishing to have a great calculator at a budget price.
Review: The first thing you need to consider when buying a new calculator is what do you need it for. If you're looking for a calculator that will do most of your tiring brain-work in advanced math classes in high-school, or to save you lots of time in...

Pros: Dynamic Functions, Color Display
Cons: Low memory, Little Compatibilty, Tends to Freeze
Review: I bought this calculator because of the color feature. I soon learned that the benefits (Color, Dynamic graphing) are slightly out weighed by the downfalls (Low memory, little compatibility). The Dynamic function is nice but little used. It only has 32k...

Pros: Good basic calculator
Cons: Needs more memory and has subtle glitches.
Review: I own a Casio-9850GB PLUS graphing calculator, which I often write
programs on for fun. I have discovered that this calculator does not perform cube roots well. For example, it does not get the cube root of 39^3(i.e. 39 cubed) exactly... |
