Pros: Accurate, inexpensive. Recessed crystal. High end design. Good match of form and function.
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: Buy it for the style, the features or the durability. It is accurate and high tech w/o looking nerdy.
Review: I have had no issues at all with this time piece, the Casio MTG900 G-Shock. The battery has not run down and the meter shows one of three levels to let you see it's condition at any time. Here in Colorado, it is almost always sunny so the solar feature ...

Pros: Stunning time keeping accuracy. Water proof. Solar powered. Rugged.
Cons: Not a fashion or status statement.
Review: I purchased this as a temporary watch while my Rolex is out for repair. For a fraction of the Rolex repair cost, this watch provides stunning time keeping accuracy and does not need to be maintained like the Rolex. It looks reasonably stylish despite ...

Pros: Rugged design, automatic time setting, solar powered
Cons: Huge. Heavy.
The Bottom Line: A good balance of appearance, features, and durability - but you should check the size and weight first.
Review: The photos don't fully convey how big this watch is. It's massive - big, thick, and heavy. If you buy it online without having seen it in person, you may be surprised as I was. It's not unwearable, but it will certainly look pretty big on your wrist, and ...

Pros: g-shock toughness, solar powered, "atomic", and nice looking watch
Cons: a little heavy, the buttons are small and hard to press, no countdown timer
The Bottom Line: i love g-shocks. they are tough and can last a lifetime. this one is solar powered (no need to change battery) and is "atomic" meaning extremely accurate time
Review: i've had my old (g-lide model with pull out straps) g for 5 years and i've put it through the shredder...wore it every single time i was doing some kind of a physical activity - snowboarding, surfing, skydiving, hiking, mt biking, lifting weights, not ...

Pros: Rugged, accurate, water resistant to 200M, not as heavy as it looks.
Cons: Battery replacement could be relatively expensive. "Care and feeding" bothersome.
The Bottom Line: After five weeks, placing the watch near a window for updating, exposing to light for recharging and worry about expensive battery replacement, I returned the watch, downgraded my recommendation.
Review: 10/15/07 Update. After using this watch for five weeks, I decided to return it. I believe that Casio has turned this watch into another "Rube Goldberg". Isn't 20 seconds per month accuracy enough? For those who think they need accuracy +/- 1 second ...

Pros: Beautiful looking watch. Tougher than expected. Tilt light is a nice feature. Love atomic accuracy.
Cons: Battery life is a major disappointment.
Review: As a owner of G-Shocks for over 15 years I was completely surprised and disappointed when this watch failed after two years. Rechargeable battery technology is not reliable. Think about how long a typical laptop battery lasts. I know ...
