Pros: Compact, works in diagonals, color free performance.
Cons: Poor lens cap design.
The Bottom Line: The Ulitma 2X Barlow is well made and works well. The best use is for getting extended eye relief with higher magnification.

Double or Nuttin'

Pros: Doubles Every Eyepiece Power, Lots of glass, multi-coated, durable
Cons: Little on the heavy side.
The Bottom Line: Should be the best eyepiece you own to virtually double your eyepiece collection and keep it "best views possible."
Review: Celestron Ultima's series is known to be top of the line optics, and they simply, are. They are in a excellent price range for what you get. Little did I know when I originally purchased it, this eyepiece is up there with more expensive barlow lenses...
