Fast, Easy, Hot

by   julesagogo ,  Dec 26, 2003
Pros: Super-fast, portable, auto shut-off, heat-resistant handles, drip-free spout, no annoying whistle.
Cons: Smaller capacity than some stovetop kettles, expels steam at the end of heating cycle.
The Bottom Line: An ultra-fast, functional and stylish way to boil water.
Review: My husband is a loose tea fanatic, having switched from java about a year ago when coffee began to give him heartburn. He used to heat up his water using a stylish Chantal kettle we received as a wedding present. The old kettle looked pretty and worked ...

by   Jabbiejoe ,  Feb 16, 2000
Pros: Automatic shut-off, Actual kettle has no cord attached, so can be taken anywhere,No coils to corrode inside, Gets water nice and hot, Stainless steel
Cons: None, we love everything about this teakettle
Review: I purchased this teakettle because we constantly had to undo
the plug, take the teakettle to the sink and fill it, or make a

I love the fact...

Pros: Quick to heat, good weight, good design.
Cons: None I can think of
Review: This kettle is marvelous. I just returned a Cuisinart one that never worked well and stopped working after about 3 months with a lid that smelled like old tires. This one is the right weight for someone with arthritis. It heats very quickly and the ...

Pros: Fast boiling, excellent auto-shut-off feature, better than Chef's Choice 670

sleek design for good and bad

by   sonokokanai ,  Oct 10, 2004
Pros: sleek design, boils water faster than conventional method, fire-safe
Cons: I've had 3 guests put the kettle on the stove!! Dangerous!
The Bottom Line: The very best kettle you can have
