Pros: Build quality, gas mileage, comfort, reliability, styling, extras
Cons: cheap-feeling sun visors
The Bottom Line: For the money, HHR gives a lot of bang (and fun) for your dollar. A well though out and well executed vehicle. Chevy and GM did great on this one.
Review: I purchased my 2008 HHR 2LT new off the lot in early March this year. I am very happy with this car. It is solidly built with a quality feel to it, has eye catching styling (and no, it does NOT look exactly like a PT Cruiser!), has lots of neat extras ...

Pros: Onstar, XM Radio, Automatic everything, rides nice.
Cons: The light interior stains easily.
Review: My experience in driving this car has been wonderful. We bought this car for the OnStar and saftey reason when we had our first child. I love the miles per gallon I get using this car, and it saves us money on gas. I also love the XM radio. I hate the ...

Pros: Easy on gas, SUV utility, Driver Info Center
Cons: Blind spots, buzzy engine, feels underpowered (where are the advertised 149 ponies?)
The Bottom Line: Great combination of SUV utility with gas-savings of a compact.
Review: With the break down of our company's handed-down Ford Winstar, our IT department finally gets our first brand new vehicle! We travel to different locations in the city, and sometimes we have gear to haul. The Winstar was a gas guzzler when we only need ...

Pros: Cargo carrying and price
Cons: Cup holder location.
The Bottom Line: Recommend if you need a car that can also haul items that would not fit in a trunk.
Review: We choose the HHR since it was comfortable to ride in, it can haul items that will not fit in a trunk, it has decent gas mileage, and the price is right. The high roof allows the seats to set up straight making it comfortable to ride in. My leg does ...

Pros: Stylish, smooth riding, good cargo space, stereo sounds nice
Cons: Lack of heated mirrors, window switches in center console, cup holders
The Bottom Line: This car fits the bill for us in that it is relatively small with good cargo space, pretty good fuel mileage, nice sound system. Fun to drive.
Review: We have owned this car 7 month. We traded in an 04 Aveo that had all options. This is what I will compare the HHR too. Both cars where purchased fully optioned. The things that attracted us to the HHR where the looks (either you love ...
