My Chevy Lumina Van

by   guytobie ,  Oct 12, 1999
Pros: Drive and runs great!
Cons: Only seat 7
Review: I bought my 92 Chevy Lumina Van 8/98. It is white with red stripe. When I bought it, it had 121,000 miles on it. It still drove like a dream. I have since put 12,000 miles on it, and gave it a complete tune up. It runs better now than the day I...

1992 Chevrolet Lumina; Best in it's class.

by   dhuting92 ,  Apr 21, 2001
Pros: comfortable cruiser, a powerful, reliable engine (3.1), sporty looks
Cons: poor gas mileage, sounds alot faster than it really is.
The Bottom Line: Just an awesome car. It's comfy, quick, very reliable, not too expensive, and sporty looking. What more could you ask for? Best in it's class.
Review: I purchased my 1992 Chevy Lumina Euro about 8 months ago. My first car, I took out my loan for 3500 and bought the car for $4500. This turned out to be a great investment. I didnt know it at the time, but now I am glad i got a 92. Apparently ...

My 92 Lumina Euro

by   racegmr ,  Nov 10, 2002
Pros: Very dependable and reliable vehicle. Ride and comfort are great. Very roomy.
Cons: NONE!
The Bottom Line: If you want an older vehicle that will run reliably and comfortably, I highly recommend this vehicle.
Review: I have owned my Lumina for 16 months and I have not had a single major problem with it. The crank sensor went out and the upper heater hose blew, but beside that, no complaints what so ever. I have replaced the front brakes (rotors, pads & shims) which...

Reliable Chevrolet Lumina

by   carolah ,  Aug 8, 2000
Pros: Reliable, mostly trouble-free car
Cons: can't think of any
Review: I purchased my 1992 Chevrolet Lumina in June of 1992 as a program car with approximately 24,000 miles on it. It has a 3.1 6 cylinder engine, air conditioning, power brakes, power windows. I was able to purchase it for about $12,300 which I saved a few...

by   lepagefamily ,  Nov 25, 2002
Pros: Spacious, comfortable, put on 170,000 miles to date!
Cons: my starters have needed regular replacement
The Bottom Line: I recommend this vehicle.
Review: Bought this car used in 2000. It had less then 120,000 miles. I've put on 50,000 more! I paid bottom dollar ($3,000.00) For a car that is 10 yrs old it is in great shape! No paint issues, and things that have needed repair have been pretty predictable as...

Meat & Potatoes: All you need, but not all you may want.

by   wannabimmer ,  Oct 14, 2001
Pros: Excellent value: dependable engine/transmission combo, comfortable transportation.
Cons: Front discs wear every 15000 miles or so.
The Bottom Line: If you are seeking a stylish ride for under 5 grand, this is a great car with a fine balance of performance, comfort, and handling. Excellent value!
Review: I purchased my Z34 in January, 1992. It has served my family well. It is dependable: the Dual Twin Cam motor and the 4T60E transmission are both reliable and strong. The thing I like most is the confidence it gives a driver: it can be "tossed" around and...

1992 Chevy Lumina Euro

by   supreme21 ,  Oct 20, 2000
Pros: Reliability
Cons: Seat comfort
Review: It is the most dependable car I've ever owned. Besides the fact that the brakes need to be replaced twice a year, I have had no problems with it.
I bought it in early 2000, with 36,000 miles. 6 months later, I've put on over 20,000 miles. It has...

Pros: versatile, great for filling with kids or toys or hauling
Cons: Too much room??

not a vehicle that I could see myself driving when I purchased it. I bought it because my kids...soon to be teenagers at the time...wanted more
room than the vehicle that...
