Pros: Excellent fit and finish inside and out, interior design, standard features, price, SUV look
Cons: Base engine is not exciting, power doors open slowly
The Bottom Line: Excellent value for the money, more beefy/SUV-like look, and very good interior design and overall quality.
Review: UPDATE AS OF APRIL 2007: Just a few comments as we have continued to own and drive this van; it has been very reliable, comfortable, classy ride and a pleasure to drive. No problems, and many compliments and questions from folks who have seen it and ...

Pros: Features, options, ride, versatility, comfort, price, style and good MPG.
Cons: 2nd row seats aren't removable due to side air bag locations, no rear air deflector.
The Bottom Line: A great value for the money. Other GM brands are comparable such as Buick Terazza and Saturn Relay but may or may not have exactly the same features/options.
Review: Well, since gas prices have DOUBLED since we bought our '04 Chevy Astro AWD (which was about the best vehicle I had ever owned, see "WonderBus"). The wife and I decided we needed to cut our weekly expenses and switch over to something more economical to ...

Cons: power sliding doors
Review: the chevy uplander is a good mini-van the only problem i can really see wrong with it is the power sliding doors malfuntion alot on mine..the 3.5l engine runs great and has no valve train noise like the 3.4 in the chevy venture van did..so that is a ...

Pros: Looks more SUV'y, comfy ride, rear seats easy to move
Cons: HUGE blind spots, not enuf rear leg room, no rear AC or heat
The Bottom Line: All in all it's not too bad but I liked my Grand Caravan better. If I had it to do over again I would but another one of those!
Review: We bought this van 2 months ago when my beloved 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport finally died. I loved that van and wanted another just like it. My husband wanted an SUV. he first saw the Buick van with the SUV'y front and liked that look,it was out of our ...

Pros: This is the best looking minivan on the market. It was free.
Cons: Needs more power & wider seats. To much wind noise when going over 40
The Bottom Line: If you want a good looking minivan, take the Uplander. If you want a better minivan get the Caravan or the Honda Odyssey.
Review: Since my company has a limited selection of cars to choose from, and the Uplander was the only non sedan available I thought I would go with it. What a mistake I made. Don't get me wrong, I think it is the best looking minivan out there. The SUV ...

Pros: Handling, price, interior.
Cons: Starter, Wheel Bearings, Front End.
The Bottom Line: Avoid this for the first year. The mechanical issues need to be worked out. The interior is nice. I do not have 100% confidence in this vehicle.
Review: We have the Uplander, as another poster, as our company vehicle. It has proven itself not something that I would buy for ownership, despite some of its good features. First impressions mean a lot, and this thing looks great until you look at the ...

Pros: Nice front seat, DVD system
Cons: Middle row seats - no leg room.
Review: I was very excited getting this van. Love the DVD, and compartments on top. The rest of the features are nice, but very cheap! Repair wise, not good. Doors have strong wind noise, radio fixed 3 times, not taking it back again since it is do able. ...

Pros: looks fine
Cons: doors don't close easily and break in the wind
Review: Don't drive this car on a windy Day!! Looks fine and sturdy but if your child opens the door -front passenger door -in the wind- the hinges will spring and cause all kinds of damage. Door wouldn't open again. Warranty won't cover this. My new car is 1 ...
