Pros: beautifully written poems, award winning illustrations
Cons: too advanced for my three-year-old.
The Bottom Line: A Child's Calendar is full of wonderful poems for each month of the year and is illustrated with wonderful artwork.
Review: A Child’s Calendar was written by John Updike and illustrated by Trina Schart Hyman. I won the Caldecott honor in 2000 for the wonderful artwork.
