by   Dr.P ,  Dec 20, 2000
Pros: This Minivan sets the standard for others to follow.
Cons: It is a bit expensive for the average family.
Review: Every Fall I anxiously await the unveiling of the next year's new car models. I like to checkout and test drive at least two of the new cars every month. This time, my young cousin, who is the mother of three little ones, asked me to help her make...

How many in your party today?

by   jedwardtaylor ,  Jan 16, 2003
Pros: Styling, comfort and spaciousness. Nice alternative to large SUV's.
Cons: Odd noise from exhaust when going uphill at 70 in Pa.
The Bottom Line: Bottom Line: If you need the space more than once a year, get it! If not, don't.
Review: Well, after only a short year and some change, the Stratus was replaced with a 2000 Town and Country LXi. Let me tell you why it was replaced.

At three in the morning, we receive a ring. Resentfully, I answered and it was my mother asking me...

Chrysler still builds the best mini-van around

by   chris_iam24120 ,  Jan 29, 2000
Pros: luxurious, great stero, luxury car like ride, heated seats, etc.
Cons: Heavy Rear Seat
Review: I just purchased my second Town & Country Mini-van (2000 model). My first was a 1997, and now both cars I own are Town & Country mini-vans.

I have owned mini-vans from all three of the US manufacturers, and no-one can still compare to...

Still loving it after 6,000 miles going to 6 states in 3 weeks

by   heartofflesh ,  Jan 7, 2006
Pros: Everything is luxury with a high standard.
Cons: The upper air vents in the rear don't blow hot air, only cold.
The Bottom Line: If you want to have comfort and a good price on a used vehicle, try this one!
Review: We bought the Town and Country after searching day and night mostly on-line, for 3 mos. and comparing prices and options with other minivans and SUV's. We were planning to start traveling with my 10 year old daughter, therefore the back seats had to be ...

I'm too "cool" for a van!!

by   Verbarg ,  Aug 20, 2000
Pros: Reliable, spacious, easy to drive
Cons: None
Review: I'm a 29-year-old mother of two...let's face it...the last thing I wanted to drive is a van. A van is for those late-thirty and forty age group Moms. You know, the ones who aren't "cool" anymore?? All kidding aside, the thought of owning and...

The best that mini vans can get

by   orangexc ,  Oct 9, 2000
Pros: Power, Audio System
Cons: Driven by soccer moms
Review: When I first heard the news that we were getting a new car I was excited. When I heard it was a minivan, the excitement quickly passed. When I thought of minivans, I would think of a junky little mom-mobile. However besides the minivan look, this minivan...

Pros: nice ride, nice price, nice options
Cons: None

by   and1playa2007 ,  Oct 18, 2002
Pros: Attractive, GREAT acceleration, very luxurious
Cons: non-chrome wheels on LX/LXi, no power sliding doors on 2000 model
The Bottom Line: I reccomend this van, its fast and luxurious. what else could you want in a minivan.
Review: The Chrysler Town and Country, LX, LXi, and Limited are very fine minivans. Although I reccomend the LXi, I have an LX. The LX comes with a 3.3 Litre V6, not sure how much horespower, but its plenty. With the LXi, you have the option of a 3.8 litre V6...

Luxury or Family Van?

by   john_banaszak ,  Dec 13, 1999
Pros: Nice Appearance
Cons: May not hold as many passengers as other vans can
Review: The Chrysler Town and Country is one of the best vans currently out on the market. There are plenty of options available, one being the luxury package. The luxury in the title really means what it says. I have never seen such a nice van until I saw the...
