Love it!

by   kegriggs ,  Jun 5, 2001
Pros: quiet ride, lots of available extras
Cons: can be expensive when you start adding extras
The Bottom Line: I absolutely love it. We tested and investigated 8 minivans. Town and Country kept rising to the top with all of the little extras.
Review: Having 3 children makes a minivan a must - especially when my 11 year old is 5'4" and growing at an alarming rate. We decided to join the league of minivan owners this spring and set off on a fact finding mission.

My husband and I spent 3...

Can't Just Drive 55!

by   lindamb ,  Oct 22, 2001
Pros: Very comfortable, smooth ride. Drives just like a car! Great features!
Cons: Only seats seven max.
The Bottom Line: Excellent minivan, smooth ride, comfortable, tons of room, plenty of great features. Definitely lives up to it's reputation.
Review: A Little Background:
Earlier this year our poor old van's brakes gave out and rather than spend a couple of thousand replacing them, we decided it was time to go out and buy a new van. I had already done extensive research on minivans and even some...

Town and Country has changed our lives.

by   ernstoutlw ,  Oct 23, 2001
Pros: Great value for the price. A lot of standard features. Lots of cargo/kid space.
Cons: Some "trim" problems. Options can significantly increase price.
The Bottom Line: I will be a repeat customer. Beats other minivans in price, comfort and versatility.
Review: We have three children, all boys, and discovered that we needed to take two cars every time we took a trip. We researched SUVs and minivans, and found the Town and Country to meet our needs hands down. The rear seats may be configured for any...

Great Redesign!

by   kitchenqueen ,  Apr 26, 2001
Pros: Great Ride, Roomy, Chrysler Incentives
Cons: 3.3L Engine is a bit lacking
The Bottom Line: This a great family car that is really comfortable and nice to drive.
Review: We purchased our 2001 T and C in December 2000. We tried literally every van on the market. None could compare to the room and options of the Chrysler. Plus, with the incentives Chrysler was offering it was much more affordable. The colors and trim...

Excellent Minivan!

by   GRPaul349 ,  Jan 24, 2001
Pros: Quiet ride, roomy, power sliding doors and hatch
Cons: none
The Bottom Line: A great minivan! I have been impressed with every aspect of it so far and look forward to many years of use out of it. Definitely one of the best.
Review: UPDATE :
I've owned this minivan for almost a year. I can't imagine living without it now. Other than routine maintenance the vehicle has performed flawlessly. One more than one occasion I've taken all the seats out and filled it up to capacity....

Love the T&C EX!!

by   gringa ,  May 10, 2001
Pros: Very quiet ride, plenty of space, comfortable seats, power doors and liftgate
Cons: Sorry I didn't buy it sooner!
The Bottom Line: We love it because it meets all of our needs. You get more for your money!
Review: We recently bought the Chrysler Town and Country EX and we love it! There's not a lot of opinions about it out there because its a new model that they advertise only on their web site. They developed this model to compete with the Honda Odyssey and...

Lost my manhood, but gained some comfort

by   jennsydandrew ,  Jan 17, 2002
Pros: Smooth ride, classy look, Dual Air
Cons: None that I can see yet
The Bottom Line: Have two or more kids and looking for class and comfort? This is the real deal!
Review: Well previously I did a review on a Dodge Ram. The Ram is a MAN'S TRUCK. But over XMAS we took that Ram to Las Vegas. That is a 1000 mile drive from here in Texas. The kids were crammed in the back, they fought, my wife had no room in the passenger...

A Luxury Vehicle!

by   SamNoe ,  Dec 8, 2001
Pros: Nice, Roomy, Quiet, Lot of features
Cons: Minor (see below)
The Bottom Line: Bottom line, if you're not serious about minor features, Take it! You'll love it!
Review: I will not write the long way - as I see most other opinions are enough, and I don't have any specials to add. Very smooth & quite ride, good acceleration & braking, lot of interior space (it's the widest minivan, almost 79"), handles very well, turns...

Nice surprise

by   ejrowland ,  Jan 21, 2001
Pros: Well-equipped, convenient, readily available, Well-designed (mine is 4wd)
Cons: Pricey, Mini-van stereotype
The Bottom Line: This van is solid and comfortable. Chrysler really does minivans well.
Review: This van has turned out to be a nice surprise. Since I have 3 kids under 3, carseats and airbags have forced me into the minivan segment. I have always driven mid-sized German sport sedans or wagons, most recently an Audi A6 quattro, so I've really...

Great van

by   mulfomi ,  Jan 31, 2001
Pros: Very nice van. Roomy, with a great ride and handling. Powerful engine. Versatile interior.
Cons: None yet. (Hopefully never)
The Bottom Line: Great van that combines great handling with a powerful engine and a comfortable and versatile interior. Definitely better than the competition. Very roomy inside with lots of options. Quite ride.
Review: Bought an LXi with lots of options and its great. Ride is very nice and with the optional 3.8L engine, acceleration is super. Interior is roomy with versatile seating arrangements. Despite the lack of a folding 3rd seat, you have lots of options for...
