The mommy mobile with STYLE, and comfort~

by   wmr1234 ,  Nov 26, 2001
Pros: Easy to handle, so many pro's I will list below.
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: If you want comfort, style, and a nice ride I would seriously consider this van. If I like it, you will to =)
Review: I had to do it, we had our third child just over one year ago and I had to get a "MINIVAN." I was NOT the kind of mother that would EVER buy something like that, but after the SUV's I have been driving around in for so many years, the thoughts of buying...

Economy of space and money

by   jierik ,  Aug 9, 2007
Pros: Excellent ergonomics, affordable, very roomy and comfortable
Cons: Seats 7, "check engine" light always on, noisy clockspring
The Bottom Line: A reference in its class. Our car has been very reliable, and it is hard to beat in comfort, ride and roominess
Review: We purchased a used vehicle with 103,000 miles on the odo, knowing that we might take a huge risk in terms of expected life span but also that we got a huge amount of car for relatively little money (less than 7000 USD). There is a huge supply of used ...

My husband doesn't feel like a WUSS in our LXi!

by   jeannegrrl ,  Nov 4, 2002
Pros: Very Comfy, Roomy, Handles Well, Convenient, nice "extra" touches, Room for Full-Size Spare
Cons: No "hide-a-seat" Could have more "trunk" room.
The Bottom Line: This car knows what it's like to shlep your family around - whether you're Mom or Dad, or the driver or passenger, and it does it in style!
Review: Having just started our family, we had not planned to get a family car for at least another year or two. My husband was dead-set against a mini-van. He dearly wanted an SUV. However, a convergence of good luck (refinancing the house, 0% financing for...

Great Van

by   ehlphi ,  Jan 13, 2004
Pros: Styling, comfort, brakes, engine, power everything
Cons: Fuel economy, lack of full-size spare
The Bottom Line: Great van. You won't be disappointed with the Chrysler!
Review: My family just bought a 2002 LXi in December 2003. It was new, believe it or not, and had been sitting on the dealer's lot for some time. It was either the exterior color (Inferno Red Tinted Pearl Coat) or the fact that it has the cloth interior that ...

The ultimate minivan

by   pedodds ,  Dec 29, 2001
Pros: All Wheel Drive. Power rear doors and liftgate--push button convenience. Ultimate Luxury Minivan.
Cons: Price. But no other minivan in the world has what the Chrysler T&C offers.
The Bottom Line: The best minivan in the world. Period.
Review: First of all, I like minivans. Specifically the Chrysler family of vans. We traded in a 1996 Chrysler T&C LXi for a 2002 T&C LXi AWD. With 0 percent financing and 7 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty and the desire to have a new van it was a no...

A Town & Country EX updated Oct03

by   pdauby ,  Apr 29, 2002
Pros: Handling, quiet, comfort, flexibility
Cons: No fold down flat seats (although easy to remove). They will be available in 2004
The Bottom Line: A worthy minivan, comparable to the Honda. Check it out, you won't be dissappointed and you'll save a few bucks. Reliability has been improving with Chryslers. Review UPDATED AUG 2002
Review: We recently bought the Town & Country EX, and could not be happier. After much research, I felt that this was the best value. Don't waste your time with the Mazda, Chevy, or the Ford minivans. You may want to look a the Toyota. You definitely should ...

A solid car - wish it seated more!

by   khorrell ,  Dec 3, 2007
Pros: Great driving, lots of space,
Cons: No shoulder belt in middle back seat.
The Bottom Line: Solid car, lots of space, great prices!
Review: I have owned my 2002 Chrysler T&C LX since June of 2002. With my fourth child coming, there was no more room to squeeze car seats in the back of the station wagon. I searched everywhere and finally narrowed it down to the Chrysler and the Honda ...

How did I live without one.

by   gunnaroo ,  Jun 4, 2004
Pros: Chrysler minivan knowledge all comes together.
Cons: 3rd party (Mopar) DVD player option is expensive at $1600.00.
The Bottom Line: For a good family mobile you can't go wrong with this one.
Review: This minivan has so many gadgets and accessories that you lose concentration on the road playing with them all. The optional DVD player is a must with kids, although expensive. It comes with wireless headphones so that the kids can watch their movies or...

Great family vehicle

by   tramp697 ,  Jan 21, 2002
Pros: Stylish and many nice features
Cons: Need automatic head lamps on lower line models.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who needs a comfortable, roomy and versitle vehicle.
Review: Interior: We own the town & country LXI version and it is a wonderful vehicle. Comfortable, quiet and luxurious interior. The seats remove easily and it only takes one person to take them out or put them back in. The heated leather seats keep you warm...

EX: A fair price.

by   jgww ,  Oct 18, 2001
Pros: price, included options, styling, handling, auto doors, engine power, transmission performance
Cons: rear auto door beeps will certainly grab your attention-overkill
The Bottom Line: T&C EX over Odyssey EX. Otherwise, you'd have trouble justifying the T&C LXi or Limited over the Honda given prices. Great van!
Review: One year/18K mile update:

A year ago I decided upon the T&C EX at about $2K less than Odyssey EX. I have yet to regret that decision. I refer occasionally to the Odyssey EX because it and the T&C are presently the best overall vans out...
