Great Tent 'Nuff Said

by   joemedic ,  May 31, 2005
Pros: Size, quality, price, easy to put up.
Cons: Flimsy stakes, How do I get it back into the bag?
The Bottom Line: If you are a car camper with a large family, you should look long and hard at this tent. You won't find much better for the money.
Review: This was the year I decided to take my wife and all four children camping. I had experimented by taking just my two boys last year and it was obvious that a bigger tent was needed. I researched tents and found several in the price range we were looking ...

When it comes to camping Coleman is #1

by   loveya2usa ,  Jun 30, 2000
Pros: sets up easy, lots of room, two doors, plenty of head room
Cons: none
Review: My family has only been camping for the last 3 years but just about every piece of camping equipment we own has the Coleman name on it. I have bought other brands but none preform or last as well as Coleman products do, and this tent is no exception....

Coleman Stands alone at top

by   jhousto2 ,  Jul 3, 2000
Pros: Easy set-up, large sleeping area
Cons: sometimes too big!
Review: Camping equipment is a large market, especially with the number of people that enjoy to camp growing each year. When you go camping, you have to figure you need a tent, sleeping bag, food and cooking supplies, and other miscellaneous items. Through...

Room for everyone

by   dajojo1 ,  Nov 5, 2001
Pros: Great family tent
Cons: Nothing important
The Bottom Line: This is a good tent--lots of room, well designed lay-out, good price and easy to set up. No complaints here.
Review: I bought the Coleman family dome tent because I wanted more room for our family and Coleman seemed like a name to trust-at a reasonable price. We have only taken it camping once, but we really like the tent. I ordered the tent on-line, prices vary...

Coleman Family Dome Tent

by   mazy_11 ,  Oct 28, 2001
Pros: it has a good amount of room in it.
Cons: the top in some places is low
The Bottom Line: It is a wonderful tent and the structure is excellent.
Review: I go camping with my family every year and i bought the Coleman Family Dome Tent about two years ago. I think that the tent has a great design to it. It is like a dome at the top so the water if it rains does not sit on top of the tent and cause...

Compared to last years tent this is heaven!

by   bob-dickenson ,  Aug 24, 2001
Pros: Durable, very roomy, and so easy to set up its almost shameful
Cons: A little expensive
The Bottom Line: Easy, reliable, durable, plenty of room
Review: I finally decided to break down and buy a new tent this year. The old one had seen better days, half of the pieces were missing, and it wasn't quite as much fun for my sons when we were spending almost an hour with me trying to set up a tent that leaked...

Home away from Home

by   aestep ,  Jun 17, 2001
Pros: lots of room, easy to set up
Cons: none that we have found yet!
The Bottom Line: I would highly recommend this tent to the family who likes to camp. There is plenty of room and you can't get much better than the Coleman name!
Review: After camping last summer in our old one room tent with a toddler, a baby and two adults we decided it was time for a new tent, one that we could move around in. I began looking at tents early in the season and immediately decided that this was the one...

Coleman Kicks Butt With This Tent

by   winniegail ,  Apr 14, 2001
Pros: It can be one big open tent or divided into 3 rooms for privacy
Cons: You can't stand up in the side rooms-but hey-that's a normal tent for ya!
The Bottom Line: This is a really nice tent for a good price, well worth it for families.
Review: I bought this tent about a year ago and we used it frequently over last summer. It held up very well even when it was beaten by rain, wind, and our 3 dogs. It was pretty easy to set up, although it did take a couple people to set it up every time. I...

Coleman can do better

by   sgail457 ,  May 20, 2002
Pros: Great design, easy to set up.
Cons: poor quality of materials
The Bottom Line: I like the tent but would caution anyone using it to be very careful with the poles to avoid cutting the cord. Other tents are better built.
Review: I bought this tent after reading the reviews at this and other sites. I like the design with separate rooms and the main front room. It was $50 less than the regular price at Target, which made it even more reasonable.

We set it up right...
