The cheapest iPAQ is the best?

by   guitarzan ,  Jan 7, 2003
Pros: Beautiful high-contrast screen, very small and portable, SD expansion slot
Cons: Lack of options, no standard cradle
The Bottom Line: Possibly the best PocketPC on the market if you need a portable PDA that's really portable, and practical at the same time.
Review: Having been a previous iPAQ owner (model 3650: see my other review), I was skeptical when I saw that they had released a lower cost PocketPC. Then one day at the local electronics store, a small narrow PDA with a great screen caught my eye. It had the HP...

Palm faithful converted

by   andrechi ,  Feb 19, 2003
Pros: Small, light, beautiful screen, delight to use
Cons: Too new (explained below)
The Bottom Line: 1910 is a simple device for contacts, calendar, tasks and mp3's. It's the only PocketPC that's the size of a Palm V. I love the thing.
Review: I'm a Palm user and always have been (6 years). I've owned the III, V and Vx. I loved my Vx but wanted a new PDA, so I went in the market and tried the Tungsten, Ipaq 5450 and 1910. The nice return policies most vendors give you is perfect for...

Get your life organized! A great tool for geeks!

by   kfredric ,  Apr 2, 2003
Pros: Very small, light, and a great color screen. Easy to use and powerful!
Cons: No cradle, and no screen protector.
The Bottom Line: There isn't a PDA in the world that can compare to this one. Sell your old one and buy this PDA. You won't be disappointed.
Review: I'm not going to list the basic features in this review, I'm going to try to tell you what other people fail to mention.

First, I was a Palm user, not a Pocket PC user. I switched because I wanted something more powerful and a device that was...

Great Unit!!!!!

by   dougf ,  Jan 4, 2003
Pros: Size, removable battery, screen, price, functionality
Cons: No cover, battery life, lack of pre-installed OS software, no SDIO
The Bottom Line: HP Ipaq H1910 is perfect for business use and pleasure, the form factor, sound, and display all together blows any PDA I have used away unless you require expansion.
Review: Let me start by saying if you NEED SDIO expansion for Mobile Internet, Wi-FI, Bluetooth this is not for you. I personally do not use or need these features, so this unit is perfect for me.

I have been using a variety of Palm OS units for...

Nice deal for about 215$.

by   miksem ,  Dec 30, 2002
Pros: Small size, Best Screen, Best PDA on a market
Cons: Low Speed PDA, SD slot without Input-Output
The Bottom Line: Nice new HP addition to Pocket PC family i think its a best bet between new AXIM X5(DELL) and Viewsonic even with a slower processor.
Review: I bought this unit in staples after all discounts it came for 215$ as i said it it is small (smaller than Palm Vx), the only bad thing i found about this unit is SD flash slot without Input-Output capabilities. Wait until the price will go down to...

Good things come in small packages

by   bigplatypus ,  Jun 13, 2003
Pros: Size, screen, functions, PocketPC2002
Cons: No docking cradle
The Bottom Line: Small package, great styling, crisp color screen, Pocket PC 2002, just to name a few. What more could you want? Just remember it's not a Palm.
Review: I've read many of the reviews on this and am surprised at the little things that people dislike. My ...

Good PDA for beginners

by   pcspecialist12 ,  May 20, 2003
Pros: Very compact, bright screen, built in microphone for note taking.
Cons: No built in wireless connection, no base charger with unit ($50) extra.
The Bottom Line: I really like this PDA. It comes with good software and is easy to use, great price, excellent design and very small.
Review: The HP1910i is a great PDA for the beginning user. The 1910 comes with a good bundle of software and if you buy directly from HP you get a free car adapter with purchase. I was somewhat disappointed with the fact that it didn't come with a base charger,...

Exceptional utility in tiny package!

by   llarion ,  Feb 9, 2003
Pros: Super-bright screen, diminutive size, replaceable battery, SD memory slot
Cons: No cradle (USB cable only), does not utilize expansion packs, limiting flexibility
The Bottom Line: An excellent buy if ultimate utility and portability - not flexibility - is your aim.
Review: The new HP iPaq 1910 is a quantum leap above the previous generation iPaqs in many areas. The first thing you notice is that the new transreflective screen is significantly brighter than that of any previous-generation 3xxx-series iPaq. When I compare it...

Buy it!!!!!

by   jlsm ,  Aug 31, 2003
Pros: ActiveSync feature.
Cons: It was very easy to inadvertently turn the unit on.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend it because it performs admirably what the manufacturer advertises.
Review: Although it has the slowest processor, I was satisfied with the speed. Downloading applications are ...

An excellent compromise

by   lawman67 , top reviewer in Computer Hardware at Epinions.com ,  Jul 5, 2003
Pros: Small, light, gorgeous screen
Cons: No PPC 2003 upgrade, no SDIO, no keyboard, no case, no cradle
The Bottom Line: The iPAQ 1910 is simply a delight to behold, however its limitations are real, and will be a deal-killer for many.
Review: Like many other reviewers of this unit, I just switched from a Palm Vx. I think this is because the ...
