Seven Years and Still Going Strong

Pros: wide slots; easy crumb removal; defrost, reheat and cancel buttons; browning control
Cons: none
The Bottom Line: more options than you would expect a toaster to have!--defrost, reheat, level of browning, etc.; easy cleaning; pretty toaster
Review: We got this as a wedding present in 1998, and it is still going strong. It has two WIDE slots for bread (even bagels!). They are 1.5" wide and a little over 5" long. You can do Texas toast in this toaster! The toast also pops out pretty far, so you ...

Pros: does what it is supposed to do
Cons: hard to keep shell clean
The Bottom Line: Styled after your classic toaster, this modern redesign does everything you need in a two slice toaster.
Review: We have owned this toaster for five years and I find it very difficult to say very much bad about it. The one negative thing I can say is that the chrome shell is very difficult to keep clean. Fingerprints and smudges seem to always be ...

Cuisinart Electronic Toaster- Where is the Art?

Pros: features such as defrost button and reheat button
Cons: there is a number system instead of light, medium or dark
The Bottom Line: I recommend the Cuisinart Classic Toaster if you are ready for a little technology in your toasting. The Defrost and Reheat button are great features for any kitchen.
Review: After many toasting moments with my toaster, the paint begin to chip off the toaster. I thought it was time for a new appliance. I ask my mom for a toaster for Christmas. I did not care what kind. I just would like to be able to toast bagels in it. My ...

Cuisinart was SOOO close to a real winner here...

Pros: Great look, nice warranty, reasonable price
Cons: Unevenly toasts
The Bottom Line: Nice looking toaster and easy to keep clean (the brushed stainless version, at least). Although it produces unevenly toasted slices -- its a keeper.
Review: Cuisinart got it SOOO close. They made a toaster which looks quite attractive (in a retro way), is not too expensive (I paid $30), and is easy to keep clean (I got the brushed stainless finish version -- not the shiny chrome finish others have ...

Toast!

Pros: wide slots, attractive design, reliable
Cons: every fingerprint shows up on the chrome
Review: My wife and I received this toaster as a wedding present and couldn't be happier. We're just a family of two, so having a two-slice toaster is just fine. I'm sure families with more members will want to buy the 4-slice model, but, rest assured, the...

A Good, Classy Choice but Hard to Keep Clean!

Pros: Great style, wide slots.
Cons: Hard to keep the mirrored area clean.
The Bottom Line: If a classic style is most important to you, check this one out. If ease of cleaning is what you want, don't go with stainless steel!
Review: My husband purchased this toaster for me when we were engaged in late 1999. We didn't have our own home until September of 2000 which is when I started using it. I saw this at a local department store and fell in love with the styling - it seemed to be ...

I now crave toast

Pros: Fast, toasts evenly. No cold spots. Wide slots. Crumb tray.
Cons: Expensive for a toaster. Perhaps too powerful.
The Bottom Line: Worth the extra money. Best toaster I've ever owned, and it's high quality, so I'll have it for years.
Review: Have you ever read a novel where the author waxes poetically about a delicious, perfectly grilled slice of toast, and wondered what the fuss was about? I used to, until the Cuisinart CPT-70 Classic Style 2-Slice Toaster. Im actually a toast-fan, now. ...

This toaster has some unpleasant quirks

Pros: Durable, nice styling. Reasonable price (not cheap, but not high-end)
Cons: Uneven toasting, tends to burn toast on occasion no matter what the setting.
The Bottom Line: This sleek-looking toaster is mid-priced and has good features. But it toasts unevenly, so I'd recommend looking at another model.
Review: Nice looking toaster, this. Rounded, chrome, classic without being retro. I chose it after despairing in a search for "the" toaster. Reading reviews, I see that toaster-buying is difficult. It's not the feature set so much as style, reliability and ...

Cuisinart Classic Style Toaster: Not So Toasty

Pros: Nice Features, Nice Design, Takes Up Little Counter Space
Cons: You Say You Like EVENLY Toasted Bread??
Review: If you are seeking perfectly, evenly browned bread products, this is not the toaster to buy. It's not a BAD toaster, it's just not the best.
Nice Design There is no doubt, aesthetically speaking, this is a... |
