Real Men Don't Cry. They Go Super Saiyan and Get Even.

by   beekd91 ,  Sep 7, 2006
Pros: Fast-paced gameplay, solid graphics, much replay value.
Cons: Problems in the mechanical fields; sound is a mixed bag.
The Bottom Line: ...Last paragraph, people.
Review: I don’t know about you, but for some reason, watching guys’ hair burst into gold and blasting each other with vibrantly colorful blasts with names like “Recoome Eraser Gun” and “Kamehameha” (pronounced KAH-may-HAH-may-HA) appeals ...

If you have the time, I have the game

by   imadad2 ,  Dec 20, 2004
Pros: Graphics, New moves, Defenses, and over all game play
Cons: Background music not from series
The Bottom Line: Best DBZ game to date. It took the best of the first two Budokai, added some more, and made a great game.
Review: I read mixed reviews on Budokai 3, and was a little apprehensive buying it because I hated Budokai 2. We played the game this weekend, and what a blast it was. This is the best DBZ game to date, and the makers of the game hit a home run with it. The ...

DragonBall Z: Budokai 3 - I guess third time is the charm.

by   yusakugo ,  Jan 3, 2005
Pros: Cel-shaded graphics, DBZ feel in fights, characters, over the top specials and ultimate moves.
Cons: Not a real fighting game, limited moves, rehashed animations
The Bottom Line: Not for people who want a serious fighting game but a blast for those even remotely interested in DBZ!
Review: DragonBall Z: Budokai 3 is possibly the best DBZ game to date... and I've played DBZ games as far back as the Super Nintendo (actually the Super Famicon since that version of the game was never released in the US). Problem is that Budokai 3 isn't the ...

when you got to go you've got to go.

by   tommy_lop ,  Feb 2, 2005
Pros: the fighting engine has been over hauled and is better
Cons: collecting Dragon Balls no longer gives you the great prizes
The Bottom Line: Coming Through
Review: I got DBZ Budokai 3 last month when I found it on sale for 32 dollars at wal-mart in some of there after Christmas clearance sale. I picked it up because I heard it was better then B udokai 2, which I liked a lot and ...

Enter the DRAGONBALL!!!!

by   wickedklown510 ,  Feb 26, 2005
Pros: More characters, upgraded fighting system, great story line called “Dragon Universe”
Cons: The only cons I could find was the sound system and the rush ability.
The Bottom Line: It’s worth every penny you’ll pay. Yes it has a couple flaws but not nearly enough to divert any true DragonBall Z lover from gracing themselves with this great game!
Review: Game Play DragonBall Z Badokai 3 has by far the best game play out of all the games in this trilogy. They have added a lot to make the game more difficult and more entertaining. For instance, a teleportation feature has been added so when your ...

the best so far

by   belkin ,  May 21, 2006
Pros: The graphics are excellent and environment interaction is also done well.
Cons: The story mode and the new addition of Dragon Rush
The Bottom Line: This game is a must-have for any die-hard DragonBall Z fan and a must for anyone seeking a fast-paced action game
Review: This is the best DragonBall Z game so far. It has the best graphics out of the three budokai series and has the best cut scenes. The first time I played this game I was amazed. The graphics of the characters and the graphics of the environment was ...

To sum up this game: Bittersweet symphony

by   hazelmystic ,  Aug 16, 2007
Pros: Great graphics, fast paced action and true character style.
Cons: Game balance issues and some redundancy.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking to play a great DBZ game that sticks true to the series then you will want to check this out!
Review: Summary ------- The Dragonball Z franchise hails from a time where the US of A didn't even know Dragonball Z existed. When Toonami and the geeks over at Funimation made DBZ's debut it became practically an overnight hit, the greatest success since ...
