Cons: He's not hip enough to get the recognition that he deserves.

The Bottom Line: If you like tracks that flow together beautifully, that contain gorgeous musical arrangements and thought-provoking lyrics, rush out and buy Daylight.

I love it when I'm pleasantly surprised. I love it when an artist who I like okay-wise, puts out a cd that overwhelms me. If Duncan Sheik was here now, I'd plant a big-ole kiss on those lips of his :).

The Bottom Line: Full, sometimes rocky sound from a talented songwriter who deserves more recognition. Every song is a hit! I promise you WILL sing along!

Review: Duncan Sheik is a singer/songwriter who's been wavering just south of the commercial radar ever since he hit big with his first single, 1996's "Barely Breathing". Most people would be surprised that he has now reached his fourth album. "Daylight"...

Pros: It's louder, it's faster, it's bigger, it's badder, but it's still Duncan Sheik!

Cons: I suppose there's a bland moment here and there, but that's almost unavoidable.

The Bottom Line: If you liked what Duncan Sheik did before, you'll love this. If you thought his previous efforts were too subtle, you'll love this. Anybody else?
