Pros: Great Scotch
Cons: Great Scotch
Review: Well when it's time to take a plunge into drinking don't be
shy give Dewar's Scotch Whisky a try. The White label variety is especially smooth. It is great on the rocks as a shot, or you can even nurse it for a while. One thing... |

Pros: smooth, sweet
Cons: unless your friends drink Scotch Whisky, you will be laughed at.
Review: As you can see by my age, I have not been a drinker for long ;-) But in that short existance, I have found my 2nd favorite drink. I thoroughly enjoy Dewar's White on the rocks. It is a perfect sipping drink appropriate for all situations.

Ask for a Scotch and You're Gonna Get Dewar's |
|||
|
Pros: Well priced and good smooth taste with a bit of bite.
Cons: Nothing worth noting
The Bottom Line: Dewar's White Label isn't an expensive blended Scotch whiskey but it's a good smooth tasting one that I also enjoy mixed.
Review: Over the almost 40 years of drinking the number one hard liquor I have had is Scotch Whisky. I would also say that I have had more Dewar's than any other brand. One thing I have noticed if I ask for a scotch on the rocks without mentioning brands, the ...

Pros: Great, unusual tasting Scotch Whisky.
Cons: I don't have a Scotsman here with me right now.
The Bottom Line: This Scotch really surprised me, the taste is rather unusual. I did enjoy the interesting flavors very much.
Review: While searching for a new liquor to review, I realized that I had only taste tested one Scotch. Good grief, what was I thinking! I love different whiskys! During my weekly trip to the local seller of spirits, I chose a bottle of Dewar's White Label ...

Dewar's White Label ~ It's Birth and It's Pleasure |
|||
|
Pros: Almost always available, economical, finely blended
Cons: Not a single-malt
The Bottom Line: Dewar's White Label is a fine tradition born in the Scottish Highlands. I am glad that Tommy Dewar made such and effort to spread this product world-wide
Review: I have read a lot of the reviews of Dewar's White Label and I simply have to write a review that does this spirit some justice. I do not claim to be a major drinker that can point out the smells and tastes blindfolded, however, I have been to the ...

Pros: Friendly buzz, no hangover, delicious taste, mixes well.
Cons: Slightly pricey.
Review: I've been drinking Dewar's almost exclusively for the past few years, ever since I discovered (to my horror) that I'm allergic to something in beer (perhaps the hops). I needed to find a drink that was available in just about every bar, since I like to...

Pros: Warm's the soul.
Cons: A bit pricey
The Bottom Line: Great taste that is smooth sailing on warm waters.
Review: The drinking man's scotch. I've not been a big scotch drinker in the past. Sure, I've had alot of whiskey/bourbons. But rarely the specifics of scotch. Dewar's has made a believer out of me. I'm sure I'm not the only one this little green bottle has...

Pros: Smooth, balanced, consistent taste
Cons: Like all booze, it takes a toll on ya
Review: Dewars has become my favorite scotch. After youthful flirtations with the cheaper stuff, I've settled on Dewars as my favorite. Dewars marries a smoky taste with the lightness of a blended scotch. Somehow they've come up with a receipe that doesn't...

Pros: A great all around Scotch
Cons: Not the best out there
Review: As a light drinker, it's odd that I would choose a scotch as my favorite. But, nevertheless, I have. Dewar's is the scotch that I was raised on- literally! My grandparents drank it/drink it, my parents drink it, my aunts/uncles drink it...it is truly a...

Pros: It's universally recognized and stocked nearly everywhere.
Cons: Although a solid "call" brand, it's often priced with the premiums.
Review: Dewars is a light bodied scotch that is unusually smooth for it's age. It's notable taste holds up well in both cocktails and highballs. I think is the only scotch to be used in a Rusty Nail. I drink it 'on the rocks' (1" cubes only), and recommend you ...
