Pros: Great atmosphere, graphics, control,
Cons: lack of direction at times
Review: Being an early adopter of the Dreamcast I have always been a huge advocate for its sucess. Not because I am a Sega fan (to tell you the truth I'm not really a huge fan of Sega itself)but because I am a fan of video games period and if Sega can put...

Pros: Supprisingly Deep Story
Beautifull
Challanging
Nothing quite like it!
Cons: The difficulty could stop a few from finishing, stick at it!
The Bottom Line: Let yourself be drawn into this world, you will truly love the experience. Give it a try and stick with it, you wont be dissapointed by this amazing adventure.
Review: Ecco has been around for a while now. He seems to be one of those 'mascot' type characters that is somewhat hidden away, making rare, but memorable appearences. The Ecco the Dolphin games on Sega's Mega Drive/Genesis system are held onto by Sega fans as ...

Pros: graphics, sound, gameplay
Cons: difficult at times
Review: Dive into the ocean into the digitally animated World of Ecco the Dolphin. Swim with the dolphins, punish the sharks, prey on the fish, make friends with the whales, and defend the future. . All the normal traits of a normal caretaker dolphin, what was...

Pros: Ecco is amazingly talented
Cons: You might fall asleep
Review: The objectives of this game are both, easy and hard. The easy objectives are the one's that are told to you. The hard objectives are the one's that are puzzles, but as a lot of the reviews I have read, "The puzzles are easy, after you do...

Pros: Beautiful, stunning, fun, a "must buy" for ten dollars
Cons: too hard especially near the end
The Bottom Line: If you have a dreamcast, get this game. With the dreamcast at 50 dollars you might want to buy one to play this.
Review: This game is special. It's beautiful and the main character, Ecco, is beautifully rendered. His moves are a pleasure to watch, but would probably be much better on a computer game. Still, you might feel like you are in control of a real dolphin. It's fun...

Pros: Beautiful graphics and sound, innovative gameplay, intriguing puzzles and challenges. Gorgeous levels to explore and play in.
Cons: Character is so fast and responsive that he's almost too maneuverable! Game gets difficult rapidly.
Review: You know that a video game is good when you spend your first ten minutes playing it with your jaw slack and your eyes glazed over from lack of blinking. "Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of The Future" for Sega Dreamcast is that kind of game, and...

Pros: Good music,good sound,great graphics,good controls,long game
Cons: Extremely difficult, maybe a little too long, easy to get stuck, some annoying levels
The Bottom Line: Buy it, just don't expect too much action.
Review: I was going to review the PS2 version of the game, but it has not been added to the site, so... I'll stick with the DC version. The PS2 version seems to have slightly better graphics and slightly worse control due to the PS2 controller.

Pros: Everything is far too good to miss this
Cons: Challenge is rather hard.
Review: Ecco is an incredible game that recreates the ocean as close as possible than just the feeling of blue space. This game is a shining example of the Dreamast's power....
The Story: In the not too distant future, Human and Dolphin begin to... |

Pros: Great gameplay, jaw dropping graphics, killer challenges
Cons: Requires an otherworldly mind set
The Bottom Line: Hard core to the extreme, Ecco requires wild, often creative thinking and execution of action. But the experience is breathtaking.
Review: If you've seen Ecco the Dolphin: Defender of the Future, you've probably been wondering what it was all about and whether you should spend your hard earned money on it. If you've played the old Genesis game and are a big fan of the series, then I...

Pros: Fantastic graphics, great style, tremendous fun
Cons: Maybe too tough for some
Review: In the old days of 16 bit gaming (the old days being a mere five or so years ago), the two Ecco the Dolphin games on the Sega Mega Drive (Genesis to you Americans) were my favourite games of all time. Ecco II in particular was my favourite game of the...
