Etymotic ER-6 saved my sanity

Pros: They sound great,they enable you to play music at minimal volume .
Cons: They have to be handled very carefully because their construction is so delicate.
The Bottom Line: Unless pulsating bass is your first priority, or you have problems with inserting something in your ear, highly recommended.
Review: I've owned the ER-6 for almost a year now, and they have held up just fine...but I treat them very carefully. For my primary use, the foam buds are more comfortable and block sound a bit better than the plastic ones. At first I thought the filters were ...

Not Functional

Pros: Sound quality fairly good until earphones give out because the filter expired
Cons: Earphones require expensive filters that no stores sell and must be mail-ordered
Review: Fairly good sound, not truly noise controlling because I can still hear sounds around me while listening. Earphones require a new pair of expensive filters every month to keep them functional. Once a filter easily clogs, I end up with only one earphone ...
