Pros: great characters in a great plot told greatly
Cons: too "authorly" at times
The Bottom Line: Read the review, then read the book. It's that simple.
Review: Fear Nothing by Dean Koontz is a story told through the eyes of it's main character, Christopher Snow. And what eyes they are. You see, Christopher Snow has a rare genetic disorder called XP (the full medical term is something much longer). XP makes...

Pros: Great adventure, and two more books coming!
Cons: none
Review: Chris Snow is a twenty-six-year-old California surfer dude who suffers from a very rare disease called xeroderma pigmentosum, or XP for short. Sunlight is deadly to him, bright light is extremely harmful. He lives in a world of moonlight, dimmer...

Pros: Characters, "UNIQUE" Government conspiracy storyline, ORSON
Cons: Not a definitive conclusion, so def. pick up the NEXT book!!
Review: Living only two streets away from Stephen King, I've grown up reading everything horror, except for Dean Koontz. Despite the hype, the similarity and the skill, I had never opened up a Koontz book, until I stumbled across one of those book clubs that...

Pros: The eerie atmosphere of the whole novel. Very interesting plot.
Cons: Koontz should've made it a little bit longer.
The Bottom Line: You want resident evil-style of action? Or something new but will truly grab your attention? Fear Nothing and Seize The Night will please you dearly.
Review: I have purchased this book and read it months after i've read Seize The Night. Being a resident of the Philippine Islands, availability of foriegn books is one of the things i loath about this country. Fear Nothing has been pulled out of the shelves long...

Pros: A THRILLER
Cons: None
Review: Do you like a fast paced story line that keeps you biting your nails in suspense? Then you will love FEAR NOTHING! The plot begins to build early in the story when Chris Snow is called to the hospital bed of his dying father and continues unabated until...

The Bottom Line: I recommend this book with more enthusiasm than I have ever recommended any book to anyone. It is without question the best book I have ever read.
Review: I am 17 years old and have been an avid reader my entire life. Dean Koontz was never an author I ex ...

Pros: Well-Developed Characters, Engaging Plot, Fast-Paced
Cons: Story Left Open at the End, Not a Light-Hearted Read
Review: I'm an avid reader of Dean Koontz novels, having read all but his latest, Seize The Night, and that total numbers close to thirty-five. Therefore, I can honestly say that Fear Nothing is one of his best achievements to date. It is the first book in a...

Pros: Excellent use of character traits to make the book "work"
Cons: Pretty descriptive horror at times
Review: Dean Koontz does it again. He makes his listener laugh, cry, shiver in anticipation...even fear what will happen next! Is darkness a friend or foe? Are the police the good guys? Who do you trust?
As a great admirer of Dean Koontz, I have... |
