Product Review

Died after 1-1/2 years

Pros:  The machined shredded into confetti very well.

Cons:  The capacity of the machine was overstated and the durability was poor.

Overall Rating: 2/5 stars

Author's Review

Capacity is overstated and the plastic fingers on the underside of the cutter head broke off and the cutting head would not turn. When I called the company, they said repair parts were not available. The person who answered the phone said that this was "occasionally a problem" but then quickly stated that it was because of jamming (i.e., it was a user caused problem). It was supposed to handle 10 sheets at a time, but really, it was more like 4 to 6 sheets at a time without jamming.

It would seem to me that the plastic housing on the bottom containing the plastic fingers (called "strippers" by the company) could be easily supplied, especially for shipping costs by the company to promote good relations.

They could even set up a website to sell these parts and charge a minimal fee say $10 per part and I think that people would be satisfied with that.
