Jake Thoene's sophomore effort yields a surprisingly realistic thriller.

Pros: Plot elements that closely parallel todays news, innovative chapter style, climactic ending.
Cons: Writing style may not appeal to everyone, somewhat slow-starting if you haven't read Shaiton's Fire.
The Bottom Line: Firefly Blue is a great book for a closer look at behind the scenes anti-terrorism techniques, and a warning to all Americans about the dangers we face.
