Best car I have ever owned!

Pros: Extremely fast! Very sexy! Resale value that never drops! As easy as pie to drive!
Cons: Stock wheels and tires are not wide enough to match the performance capabilities of car.
The Bottom Line: Well, three years into ownership, still honeymooning with no intention of ever selling car. I've since driven several more expensive machines, nothing touches the performance/value of the SVT Mustang Cobra!!
Review: First I must point out that the estimated price for this car is wrong! I own one and the base price with no options starts at $26,390. Mine has every option except the leather which was a free option, but since I live in the heat and I hate hot leather...

Pros: Great power. Awesome looks. Exhilirating to drive.
Cons: May need to buy tires frequently.
The Bottom Line: For less than the cost of a new GT, a used 1998 Cobra Convertible is a very viable performance buy. SVT has a winner here.
Review: My wife and I purchased a used 1998 Chrome Yellow Cobra Convertible in Feb 2001. The car was in great shape and had only 22,000 miles on the clock. I had liked Mustangs since I purchased my first back in 1991, (which I drive every day to and from work), ...

Pros: Out of this world acceleration and handling.
Cons: Stock wheel/tire combo is too narrow, car easily outperforms the factory fitted P245 Comp T/A's
Review: I was immediately attracted to my 1998 chrome yellow Cobra as it sat in the showroom. Under the dealer fluorescent lighting the fit and finish of the exterior body panels were excellent. A look at the window sticker revealed the full complement of...

Pros: sexy, fast, fun
Cons: no go in snow
Review: If you've always wanted a convertible this is your car. I just love it with the top down and the power from the engine to the road is addicting. If you love the American sports car then this is the apple pie of excess. You won't drive it in the snow...

Mustang Cobra - If you like the GT |
|||||||||||||
|
Pros: Excellent handling, Good price, Fair gas mileage, Aggressive looks.
Cons: Could use more power to compete with the competition, No 6-speed manual.
The Bottom Line: Excellent handling, excellent interior, super fast acceleration, and a very good price, together make a combination for a sports machine, most any car enthusiast would enjoy.
Review: Since 1964 the Ford Mustang has offered amazing performance for its owners, despite some power issues in late 70s and all early 1980s models, the Ford Mustang prevailed, and brought performance back to speed enthusiasts with the 5.0 models in ...

Pros: Great power for price,
Much improved handling,
Performance is easy to improve with aftermarket parts.
Cons: Intake manifold,
Seat mounts,
Seat belt guides
Body flex.
The Bottom Line: Buy the GT.
Review: I have 90K on my '98 GT now. Much better than previous models ('68 GT,'74 II,'86 GT) I have owned/driven. Handling is much improved but you need to be aware of several maintenance issues; most notably, the intake manifold and seat mounts. The all plastic ...

Pros: good power, nice interior, good handling
Cons: poor stock stereo, small backseat
The Bottom Line: Great car... too bad my friend totalled it.
Review: This car has very good power with the 4.6L V8 engine and it is a really fun to drive convertible. I would not buy this car stock, I would go with this mach stereo system and leather seats for sure. The two front seats have room good enough for someone ...

Pros: Looks, Convertible, Smooth at high speeds
Cons: Leaks, Loud, Handling, Uncomfortable
The Bottom Line: If you want to say you have a sports car and have been a Mustang owner...Go for it.
Review: Let me start my saying this was my dream car. I don't know why but I fell in love with it. Finally in 2001, I bought one used. I still have it to this day. I will state the pros first by saying that the only things I have ever replaced are the oil, ...
