At 36 years old, the legend continues

by   classic58caddy ,  Apr 8, 2004
Pros: Torque, style, excellent quality, easy to repair, utterly reliable; it's classic!
Cons: Gas mileage, brakes, a little difficult to park
The Bottom Line: An awesome, value-packed classic with legendary status, and an all-around fun ride.
Review: A note: If they had a '68 Mustang section here, I'd have gladly put this there. But they don't, and I don't honestly know what else to do with it, so here it is. I bought the car back in April 22, 2002. I have been a classic car enthusiast all my ...

2003 Ford Mustang: The New Measure of Taste, Affordable and Redefined Luxury

by   charles ,  Nov 10, 2002
Pros: Less noise and lots of speed; Great designs and engineering
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: Based on my test-driving experience with the Mustang, I can say it will continue to appeal to anybody who is on the go and enjoys cutting-edge technology
Review: Ford Mustang is one of the most recognizable Ford vehicles on the roads these days. From the inception of this brand to the current 2003 Mustang, many designs, improvements and features have been added to Mustang. No wonder that the 2003 model comes...

Low price per horsepower, this fine-looking American vehicle is a great choice

by   fourwindsoh ,  Mar 22, 2003
Pros: Phenomenal acceleration, powerful engine/sound system, great wheel look(GT Premium), overall look, performance tires.
Cons: Rear suspension is solid axle; gas mileage is about 18 MPG.
The Bottom Line: Power, handling, looks and comfort, this car is a good choice for the sport enthusiast. 8,000 miles and no problems yet, knock on wood.
Review: This car is a GT-Premium, which has 260 horsepower as advertised. It is above the standard model, but it's about $3,800 more than the base model. My #1 recommendation: pay the extra money for the GT if you can: it's worth every penny and then some....

Update JAN06 -After a year of test driving EVERYTHING, I went with the Mustang (base)

by   mrniceguy0705 ,  May 9, 2003
Pros: Style, price, comfort, power (V6)
Cons: CD/radio is not great.
The Bottom Line: V8 may be nice, but in reality the V6 with manual is great. After test driving over fifteen models, this won my heart. *A year later, I still love it!
Review: I say with regret I've been without "my" mustang for almost a year now, and not a day goes by that I don't miss it. Sounds like a love story!! ;-) My wife and I traded in the Mustang and Windstar for a used Explorer. Then we got divorced and I was stuck ...

MY STANG

by   purpledoggy ,  Feb 11, 2004
Pros: 6CD Mach stereo system, Body style, handling, bucket seats, and I LOVE the redfire clearcoat!
Cons: No room in the back but hey who wants to ride back there anyway!
The Bottom Line: Great ride and good looking, what more could you ask for
Review: I bought my mustang in August of 2003 as a birthday present to myself (hey someone has to spoil me). I couldn't afford a new GT so I went with a V6 automatic. The only problem I have had with it is the taillight on the passenger side had some ...

I Love It!!!!

by   truesunn ,  Mar 17, 2004
Pros: Comfort, styling, power and economics all in one hot package!
Cons: Cops might look twice ;) Mind that speed limit sign!
The Bottom Line: I absolutely love this car. Great handling, economical, and looks hot too!
Review: I recently purchased a 2003 Mustang - 3.8L V6- Auto Trans -Premium Feature Package with 19K miles. I absolutely LOVE it. I had a 1998 Neon, which was falling apart and traded it on this car! As a short (5'0") driver, seating comfort/interior design is ...

2003 Mustang GT Premium, get yours before they are gone.

by   shnewmy ,  Aug 1, 2003
Pros: Engine, Styling, The Mustang Mystique
Cons: Small Back Seat, Large Awkward Doors, Clunky Shifter
The Bottom Line: Where else can you get a fully loaded, 260 HP driving machine for less than 30 thousand dollars. Perhaps Subaru or Nissan, but none have the Mustang mystique.
Review: Introduction: My car is a 2003 GT-Premium, with an 5 speed manual transmission. It has the interior ...

Nice car, addictive driving experience for the seasoned driver

by   grumpysmurf ,  Jun 7, 2003
Pros: Iconic style, muscular presence, comfort, and ample torque
Cons: Cramped rear seats, small trunk, payments and fuel are not free - Arghh!
The Bottom Line: American character is something to feel proud of. Toyota Camrys don't have it. It is only available in Harley Davidsons, Corvettes, and Mustangs.
Review: The Mustang coupe in premium trim offers a lot for a low price. Present $3k rebates make the car a steal at about $17K.

Philosophy moment: Owning a proud American car takes a bit of self-esteem. The Camry conformity group will try to...

Mustang almost perfected

by   sadhak ,  Oct 20, 2005
Pros: Maintenance. Here is performance without the big price to pay.
Cons: Diver room. The GT padding takes away 1 1/2inches. Mileage
The Bottom Line: The best Mustang ever, bar none.
Review: I have owned 3 Fox body 5 liter Mustang convertibles. I now own an '01 3.8 liter convertible and an '03 GT convert. This is the best Mustang yet. The Mustang GT is much more fun to drive than any Mustang or performance car I've ever owned, and the easy ...

Old pony ;)

by   lilskar9491 ,  Apr 17, 2009
Pros: acceleration, handling, decent gas mileage compared to many v6 sports cars. (tiberon, eclipse etc.), color
Cons: interior material ( plastic along doors), ford radio(ick) now replaced with pioneer.
The Bottom Line: yes, I would recommend this car to anyone in the market.
Review:       I recenly bought a 2003 mustang from a private owner. I found this little yellow jewel in a local classified and my curiosity got the best of me. I never liked yellow cars, espeacially canary yellow, but it only had 58k and ...
