Pros: Electronic ignition gives at least the illusion that my gas usage will go down.

Cons: Cooktop design is a disaster. The grates are high and maybe require extra flame.

The Bottom Line: I would look very hard for an alternative. I would strongly consider repairing an old stove before buying a new model. Add $200 for delivery and installation.
