Pros: Comfortable, good handling, powerful seats 6 or more
Cons: Drivers Information Center does not offer all features included with Sierra pickup
The Bottom Line: In our opinion the Envoy XL is the class leader for comfort, roominess, acceleration and features. Do your own comparisons and see.
Review: We decided to replace my wife's two door Honda Accord with something more suitable for child seats and car pooling. After driving my pickup truck my wife found she liked the extra height and road handling qualities of truck type vehicle. But she was ...

Pros: Smooth engine, nicely designed interior and exterior
Cons: None
The Bottom Line: Buy this vehicle if you want a roomy, powerful, stylish SUV for the family.
Review: We were very pleased with GM's newly redesigned replacement series for the ailing S-10 platform SUV's. GM really did great in both the powertrain and styling areas of this vehicle. For this vehicle, GM introduced the new Vortec(R) 4200 L-6 engine. ...

Pros: Performance, power, style.
Cons: Low clearance, gas, price.
The Bottom Line: If you want to spend in the $35,000 for an SUV with third row seating, this is your vehicle.
Review: First off I purchased the vehicle for $34,500 in June of 2003. I also took $3,500 in rebates to bring it down to ($31,000). I also utilized the GM supplier discount. The discount is not that great but saves you on destination charges and a little off the...

Pros: Everything. Very thoughtfully designed machine. Top notch materials, solid feel to all controls.
Cons: Needs rear park assist sensors, motorized folding exterior mirrors and rear heated seats.
The Bottom Line: Best SUV on the road. Quiet, comfortable, responsive, great mileage, solid in manufacture and craftmanship.
Review: This is one of the most pleasing "cars" to drive and handle you could ask for. Enough smaller than a suburban to make it easy to park and drive, but still large enough to handle 6 to 7 people for a few day trip. If you need to haul 6 or 7 people and a ...

Pros: Great size, plenty of power. Smooth and quiet. Doesn't handle like a truck. Rides great.
Cons: So so gas mileage, but that was expected. We get around 20-21 on the highway.
The Bottom Line: We really love this truck. The size is just right. It handles great and is very quiet. Has plenty of power. We have had no problems with it!
Review: This was the first Envoy that we have bought. We bought this new in Dec '02. We are extremely happy with it. We have since added another child so we just bought a '04 Envoy XL which seats 7. The standard length Envoy seats 5. We bought the SLE 4x4. ...

Pros: German-like feel, spacious interior, great turning radius, decent acceleration.
Cons: No visual navigation system, feature buttons are archaic. Low gas mileage.
The Bottom Line: If you like SUV's and you don't mind the low gas mileage (I'm averaging 16 miles to the gallon) than buy this car.
Review: Reluctantly I purchased my first American owned vehicle in 10 years. In the last 10 years I have been fortunate enough to drive mostly German-Engineered vehicles. In fact, after driving the Mercedes ML 430 for 2 years and liking that car for many...

Pros: Size, Comfort, Style
Cons: Options packaged together instead of individually
The Bottom Line: I would recommend the Envoy to everyone that doesn't want to drive a bus (Suburban, etc..). Seats 7, great versatility, and superb style at a reasonable price.

Pros: Incredibly smooth ride, roominess, capabilities, features features features!
Cons: Eats gas (duh).
The Bottom Line: It's a tad pricey, but it definitely fits the product. One ride and you'll see the Envoy is a superb buy.
Review: First off, this review is of a 2003 GMC Envoy SLT that is fully-loaded at about $34,500. If this is too pricey, look elsewhere.
Initial Feel: When I hopped into the Envoy, my first thought was "Wow." So many neat little... |

Pros: Handles nicely
Very roomy
No Blind Spots
Great acceleration
Good Gas Mileage
Great Warranty
Cons: Rotary knobs a little retro
The Bottom Line: Don't overspend and buy a gas hog like a Yukon or an Expedition. The Envoy XL is just as roomy with a better power/weight ratio. I love this SUV!
Review: I have had my Envoy XL SLE for about 3 months now. At first I was a little hesitant because I have o ...
