From Dust to Dust

by   grandgram ,  Jan 13, 2002
Pros: Mind expansion in a vast array of subjects.
Cons: Keeping focused
The Bottom Line: Reaching the fifth level of awareness, in this level the mind is an illusion not a window to the world. This book stretches the mind to new heights.
Review: Warning – if your reading interest is to Humor, Light Romances, and Novels this book is not for you. If your interest is in books that turn your mind in ten different directions this is the one.

I ordered this book after reading...

GOD'S DEBRIS: A Thought Experiment…Fasten Your Mental Seatbelt For A Trip Into Infinity and Beyond!

by   Ed.Williamson ,  Jan 1, 2002
Pros: A mind-trip into the core of reality and beyond.
Cons: You have to work at reading it but it is rewarding.
The Bottom Line: This may be one on the very best books you ever read.
Review: Someone with whom I get into great mental challenges and debates occasionally gave me a copy of Scott Adam's book GOD'S DEBRIS: A Thought Experiment recently, and I don't know whether to thank him or scream loud curses at him. This book is...

God's Debris

by   photonuclear ,  Jul 18, 2002
Pros: This book makes you think about things that are not usually discussed.
Cons: I don't think there are any bad things about this book - I loved it!
The Bottom Line: You should buy it right away! It is a great book and you won't be able to put it down.
Review: This is probably the best book that I have read, and certainly worth the price. Even though it is non humor, it makes up for it in strange thought material. This is probably Scott Adam's best book yet. It covers a variety of topics, including God, so...

We are all the decaying dust of God's corpse

by   nathantyree ,  May 9, 2003
Pros: Thought provoking, well written, fun.
Cons: No new ideas.
The Bottom Line: Despite having no new, or novel ideas, Adams manages to entertain with a well written thought puzzle. I recommend this book.
Review: Scott Adams is the creator of Dilbert (the best comic strip around since the untimely demise of the Far Side). Adams has, with God’s Debris: A Thought Experiment, stretched beyond his normal range. God’s Debris is not (repeat...

I didn't like it

by   douglas_quaid ,  Jun 30, 2006
Pros: thought provoking
Cons: horrible scientific arguments presented as scientific fact
The Bottom Line: A thought provoking book, but the science is way off.
Review: I am a big fan not only of Dilbert, but also of Scott Adams's other writings. In his other books he has touched on science and philosophy, but in this book he focuses on these exclusively. I had always enjoyed his philosophical discussions in past ...
