So far, so good with the IPAQ 310

Pros: Nice screen, 12 Million POIs, fairly new maps

Cons: Not really supported anymore by HP, brightness control resets to low all the time.

The Bottom Line: The MSPR $499 unit can be had for $149 at varies places now... totally worth it! Nice screen, removable battery and recent maps.

Review: I've had my HP IPAQ 310 for a few weeks now and I consider myself a very seasoned GPS user, having owned 7 GPS units in the last 5 years. Its not that I get them and I'm not happy with them so I sell them, but rather there is always something "better" ...

HP iPAQ Navigation system - GPS - Needs work

Pros: Hardware, size, gps-lock, finds address and provides routing with voice.

Cons: Locks up, No; Planning, map detail, display options, can't avoid streets, regions large, PC-version.

Review: While the basic concept is good it has several connection problems and limited featured. It locks the PDA or can't re-sync when the GPS goes out of bluetooth range. There is no map detail other than streets. While the map detail looks good it makes ...
