Cons: But is it safe? Very noisy fan. It's not supposed to play a tune

The Bottom Line: I wouldn't go for the cheapest fan offered. Possibly midrange at the least. But I'd look for one where the transformers aren't quiet out in the open.

Pros: $ 5 price from Walmart, and its light weight.

Cons: Humming noise, its inability to fit into a window that is thicker than 1-3/8".
